Quote:I seem to have missed the part where he was lynched before his trial. Could you give me a link to that? You'd have to ask the prosecution or the police department. That is a quote from the press conference. I'm sure those blessings hearts pulled that out of thin air. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:You'd have to ask the prosecution or the police department. That is a quote from the press conference. Soooooo, no lynching then? He's gonna get a trial of his peers (unless he pleads out)? I'm really upset, I had my hood and sheets ready and everthin'. “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato
Where's this talk of lynching coming from?
If something can corrupt you, you're corrupted already.

Quote:Where's this talk of lynching coming from? Isnt that what usually happens when we bypass the legal system and convict a murderer without evidence or a trial? Nate does insinuate that's what is happening in this (and every capital) case. “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato

Quote:And there you go. What was the rush to judgement? Are they not responsible for the child's death? Sticking your baby in a tub full of water and then banging one out is not something that happens by accident.
What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???

Well, that's hot garbage, so I assume your argument and point has hit the inevitable brick wall. You seem to be excellent at missing the point of pretty much everything, and I'm hoping that this is intentional. You post is just not so, and completely oblivious, frankly. I also think that you know this, and want be clueless and believe that I think like I do because I surely must be a "bleeding heart." I think you saying that makes it easier for you to justify your beliefs, or what you say you believe. Well, it just isn't the case. Just not so. I don't feel sorry for people I've represented. I didn't put a single one in their position. Not a one. I tell them this, by the way. I don't think that leads to a job well done, at all. You couldn't be more wrong with what I "insinuate." That is very much false, in and of itself. I'm not insinuating much of anything. I am most often directly saying it, when it comes to capital cases. By the way.....this is not and never was one of them. I take it you missed that. I realize that you are attempting to divert and distract here, and "insinuate" yourself something that is simply false. It would appear that is what you are left with. Quote:What was the rush to judgement? Are they not responsible for the child's death? Sticking your baby in a tub full of water and then banging one out is not something that happens by accident. Well, the 1st 5 or 6 posts in this thread might be a decent example. The rush to judgment was so many assuming it was an intentional act to end the child's life. As far as your 2nd and 3rd sentences, I am not sure what your point, bottom line, there is. I guess I'll go with of course, and there is nothing said to the contrary.
