You said fat and slow. Yes technically he is slower but in real life you wouldn't even notice it.

c'mon --- 0.01 could be the difference in winning a Super Bowl

What if Kevin Dyson was 0.01 second faster?   I don't want to lose the super bowl just because we decided to take the slower RB

Quote:Yeah seriously. I know Cook ran wild at FSU but Fournette is on another planet. He's big and can slap run through guys. Cook cant.

No but cook can cut on a dime whke not losing speed and bounce off defenders like a pinball machine.

Quote:All this wont matter if we dont have a QB.........Now sign Romo.

With Henne as his Mentor, Romo could do well here.

Fournette doesn't need to bounce off guys when they already bounce off him.

Leonard Fournette could be the pick. But I wouldn't be surprised if we go after Marshon Lattimore. He would be the perfect CB across Jalen Ramsey. That is if we don't sign a corner. Lattimore ran a 4.36 and had a 11 foot broad jump and a 39 inch vertical. Only thing I would be worried about is his history of leg injuries.

The amount of stupid in here against LF is mind blowing. Convinced it's trolling.

How can you do well when you are on IR?

Pour me a big ole glass of the Teal Kool Aid. I love this move. Our defense is going to be scary good.

Calling Deshawn Watson a future bust since 3/19/17. If I eat crow, I will keep this in here and proclaim JackCity a genius.

So let me get this straight. You want to pass on the yards leader ever in fs history.

For a guy who was not even the most productive rb on his team?

And say I Dont know football?

Quote:2008 Draft History   Blush

1st Round - Jags trade up to #8 and select DE Derrick Harvey (we gave up #26, and two 2nd rounders and a 4th to baltimore)

2nd Round - Pick #50 CARDS select DE Calais Campbell

2nd Round - Pick # 51 - Reskins select a WR

2nd Round - Pick #52 JAGS select DE Quentin Groves

.... wonder if we had Campbell higher than Groves on our draft board?  Had he fallen beyond the Cards would we have taken him instead of Groves?

I think is was TMD who repeatedly posted that we should take Campbell at pick #26 in Round 1

It was actually two 3rd rounders and a 4th.  Had we kept all those picks we could have had Campbell with the 26th pick, Jamaal

Charles and Cliff Avril in the 3rd and Josh Sitton in the 4th.  Hmmm?  What could have been!  Now let's sign another player who should have been a Jaguar Nick Mangold.  Instead we drafted Marcedes Lewis ahead of him in 2006.  Meester was on his last legs at that point.

OK ... back on topic ---- CALAIS CAMPBELL !!!

Lovin the swag with all off these (state of) Florida guys on this team.  I know he didn't grow up here (but went to The U) .... but he still has the FL swag to go along with our UF and FSU players.

Fournette, 4.5 speed, thats slow in the nfl, hes not a homerun threat. And he was injury prone against college players, he'll wind up disabled against nfl players.

Clemson, Florida and Michigan. Three of the best defenses in college football last year.

Against Clemson, Cook rushed for 160 yards.

Against Florida, he rushed for 143.

Against Michigan, he rushed for over 150.

In those last two games, he played with an injury. While Fournette sat on the bench in his bowl game, not wanting to risk injury. Knowing Tom Coughlin, you tell me which player he'd pick.
