I think I had them at 18 after the Dolphins game and kept them there despite the Patriots game.  For a few reasons, Gus got out coached & Blake Bortles had an off game, tons of injuries & a couple will return this week, and I cant help but to think that the Patrtiots probably did cheat in ways we dont even know of yet...

With Julius healthy, the LT situation solidified, the running game picking up its slack, and the drops greatly limited,
I think he can get there this season.

 

If the Jags can accomplish those 4 things you listed above, they can threaten for the AFCS.

In my ranking in the NFL at Large forum you might notice I now have the Jaguars at #23. I dropped them from #20. Elliot Harrison was a little too high on them after their win and is now a little too low on them after their loss.

Marcus Mariota has been sacked 12 times (tied for 2nd) this year for 86 yard lost (1st place), yet has 8 passing Tds (tied for 4th) where as 2nd year Blake Bortles doesnt even make the list of top 10 QBs with Tds let alone QB rating...


I do not understand how anyone at this point other than Blake Bortles & his mom could rate him as an elite QB (currently) maybe has potential but you could say that about tons of QBs..
