So much for balance between run and pass

And is there any doubt that next week the Broncos offense suddenly comes to life?

Depends. Rypien is playing right now. Looking at 4th and 3 to keep it going. They have to score and get the PAT to tie the Jets for maybe a shot at OT.

All that said? I don't know. Wilson has a hamstring injury. If they lose to Rypien or a hobbled Wilson in London though it'll be pretty bad.

Dude. They’re moving the ball with ease. They were averaging 9 yards a play at one point.

They suck in the RedZone and had crucial turnover. Each week is 1 or 2 plays that destroys this team.

I wasn’t aware we were playing the offense starters on defense against the broncos next week

It’s frustrating that the Jets are at 5 wins after today. Wilson has been putrid. It really makes me ask why this team cannot put it together like the Jets are doing. They play so well they can cover up for Wilson

Didn’t you say “so much for run pass balance”?

That’s what I’m referring to. They’re doing a great job moving the ball but man they stink in the RedZone

They're learning how to win this year. Just like the Giants this year. The Jets have the same staff in place from last year. What Daboll has done with the Giants is great though.

I do really like Saquon Barkley. Like a throwback RB. The cut move he has is like Peterson. Having him healthy has been huge for them and Jones but Daboll deserves a lot of credit too

Seeing what the Jets are doing this year should give us hope for what we could be doing next year.

I did. But with the run game playing as it has we don’t need to be passing the ball 43 times a game

Call me salty but I’m not impressed with the giants. The ball bounces their way every week and they barely win. That kind of swing in averages eventually catches up with you. And they are going to fall hook line and sinker like we did and extend Daniel Jones after one decent year when everything is clicking

Jets are winning with Defense and running the football. Breece Hall had another long TD run today, but he did get injured and left the game.

Not sure why it's hard to fathom this team having over 800 yards of offense in two games and only 23 points to show for it at home. The two glaring reasons why is the INT thrown in the end zone against the tinhorns and then the obvious fumble Etienne had yesterday when he was running and had it inside the 5 or 10.

That was 37 points potentially to have net wise. Then you factor in all the goofy [BLEEP] Doug does decision making wise and you probably have another 6 - 10 points left off the field.

Adds up and makes sense real quick actually.

All true. But there are emerging patterns. Leaving points on the field with questionable 4th down decisions. Abandoning the run when it's working. Failure of either the O or the D to close out a game successfully.

This. It's like they're afraid of being successful at times. If something is working? Keep doing it. TE screen, running game, RPO stuff inside the red zone. Just keep doing that stuff until they stop it. Pederson needs to stop out smarting himself.

??? Robinson didn't get a single touch today.

I was right he did get a carry he got no yardage off of it but it was removed due to a penalty.... So it wouldn't show up in the stats because the play was removed due to penalty

And I just heard an interesting stat that James Robinson is last in the league for getting stuffed and yardage loss on runs.... 17.5%.... He's getting benched because he's not getting the yardage and ETN is

What the hell was that crap Pederson was babbling about we need to find out if JRob is 100% or not. How do you not know this? If hurt why is he not on injury report?

I didn't hear what Peterson said I'm just going by the stats that I heard and maybe this is the reason why he's not getting the carries over ETN.... He may not be hurt he just might not be 100% and that wouldn't show up on an injury report.... But Robinson isn't getting huge yards per carry like ETN is.... I don't really care who runs the ball as long as it's successful...

I think that number is misleading and more of an indictment on the o-line.  It’s misleading in that he was getting a ton of carries in the 2nd half of our blowout wins where the primary goal was to kill clock.

If you’re trusting your eyes, he’s run fine when healthy this year but sounds like he’s not healthy at the moment.  No doubt Etienne has looked better in recent weeks though.

It's becoming exceedingly frustrating. Especially in close games and when it's clearly effective in the game. Pederson can't seem to get out of his own way at times.

There's just no reason for Lawrence to drop back 40 or more times per game. 20 - 25 times is adequate in these games and they should be using his legs just like Jones did today for the Giants.

Robinson had no carries today as well. Which is just disrespectful.

If true. That sucks.

Pederson is set on making this team a pass first offense, the only issue here is that he thinks TL is capable of becoming a Herbert,Burrow, Mahomes type QB.

And that's where he'll fail. This offense needs to be balanced and make our QB just manage the game and not throw the whole playbook at him.
