It was more a poor attempt at tongue-in-cheek humor. Sorry for not being transparent enough...I thought stake burnings would give it away.


Although I do like the vat of boiling oil method for those who killed or raped children. Could that specific punishment be a deterrent? I don't know anyone who would want to go that way.

I never insinuated such. It came off to me more as attention seeking since you made your point the first time.  

Whether someone has a liberal, or conservative viewpoint, a authoritative figure should not lock a thread for the sole purpose to get the last word in all the while prohibiting someone else from being able to respond.
