Dalvin Cook wants to be a Jaguar! Bring him on!

Quote:Man if he stays what rb records will be left standing by the end of next year?

He would shatter the ACC rushing record, as he's only like 200-something yards behind. As far as the school record, he'd probably put it out of reach for good.

I'd have to go back and look at them all but I know he's in the top 5 on alot of records against other back with 4 years of playing time.

Quote:You're leaving out part of what you said. You weren't there either, all we have are witness accounts of what happened. Pretty sure an acquittal of the charge means just that, absolved of any wrong doings.
No, I wasn't there, doesn't mean I'm just going to assume that because he was acquitted I'm just going to take the word for it. If it was definitely true I wouldn't be saying he should be in consideration for our pick at #4/#5, but I also realize that a lot of these student athletes for big time programs get away with a lot. He wouldn't be the first player to be accused of doing something and get off. When you add in his animal cruetly charges, and some past charges he's had, he isn't squeaky clean character wise as much as you guys want to think he is.

Quote:No last night proved he will be the 1st rb taken.

Wrong! Other than one big run, he wasn't that impressive.

Who has run against a better defense and was that productive?

Quote:Foreman can't pass block at all just as a heads up

Why is he always being praised for it then by announcers?

Exactly! Thanks for agreeing with me

Matter of fact which of these running backs have the most production out of their 3 years in college.

Quote:Lol. He was acquitted of that ridiculous assault charge in 20 minutes by a jury.

Yeah, because star college athletes never get free passes on the crimes they do. (sarcasm)

Unless there is another video, I did not see at any point where he said he wanted to join the Jaguars.

If we draft a RB in the top 5, that would be hilarious.

Quote:Oh I'm sure you have.

Let's just brush it aside during draft time when all this [BAD WORD REMOVED] gets put right back into discussions. Of course, he is from Florida State...so, ya know, he's amazing and the GOAT and no one should question his absolute greatness.

The draft forum is a joke at times. The whole "Florida is great/Florida State is great and our players need to be taken by us" constantly gets so freaking old.

I couldn't agree more. You speak the truth!

Yeah, you're right. Free pass.

Quote:Ok, you go ahead and put this up there with what Michael Vick did as some severe crime against humanity and keep sounding ridiculous.

Was it negligent? Yes, I already stated that earlier in this thread. Is it extreme torture and showing signs of him turning into a serial killer? Hardly.

This happened two years ago. He was cited a $500 fine and I'm sure it's been taken care of.

Hopefully Dave takes him off the draft board now.

That's what a decent person would do.

Dalvin declares for the draft. Best RB in the draft.

He had one big run that padded his stats. Other than that one play, I didn't see anything that stood out.

"I think he would have benefited by staying in school another year. He's awful in pass protection. Our coaches won't put him out there if they think he'll get the quarterback (hurt). He has ability as a runner, but I think it's going to take a while for him to become a factor." -- NFC scouting director on Texas RB D'Onta Foreman

I think you can separate the person from the football player fairly easily if you try.

Just look at Tyreek Hill with the Chiefs.

Do you think most of the fans agree with him beating a pregnant women? I'd wager most of them think its an awful thing to do.

Will they all cheer for him when goes 70 yards to the house? Yes they will 100% do that.

Opinions are like you know what. Everybody has one. I'll stick to the eyeball test.

But you're impressed with a guy who padded his stats against defenses like this?
