In other words, nothing.

Its literally impossible for this to be a bad signing.

Quote:2 different positions WR and return specialist.

If the idea is just to improve the return game, then Holiday would be the better add. If its WR that we are focusing on then obviously Doss is the choice.

So, uhh, sorry there, hoss....swing & a miss.
I know Holiday had a fumbling issue this past season as well as seasons before. Maybe that is the reason why we passed over him and well as body type for possible WR rotational player

$65,000 signing bonus. No penalty if we cut him.

I see him purely as a redzone target for Chad Henne.  Currently he would be the biggest WR on the team.  #Roleplayer

Stephen Williams is 6'5"

Burton is 6'1" - 224pnds - 35 inch vertical

Not to mention Lewis did a nice job after the injury last year in the red zone. He's 6'7".

Doss was brought in to return punts not for redzone size. Of course it would be great to see him be an asset receiving- but it's a bit of a longshot.

I think the bigger takeaway with Doss' signing is that they possibly have a bigger role for Ace planned after they saw what he could do in the slot last year.

Kind of the opposite of Osgood.  A big guy you actually want to put the football in his hands (instead of solely being a ST headhunter.)

This board is just better with the mad dog in it.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.
