Wouldn't high speed rail be nice though? Such a hassle getting a short flight with security, getting to the airport early, then getting from the airport which is usually a fair ride to destination.

California's rail project is currently running 48 Billion over budget and 5 years behind the construction timeline. And that's just connecting 2 cities in within their state. A national plan to do the same thing is DOA. If the flight is short then you drive. If it's long it would be long on the train too.

Every other time a new person finds out that you have a Jamaican background, they'll put on a patois accent and start saying, "ya Mon! Bob Marley! Get dee ganja! Irie!" The first ten times that happens you're confused.  The next ten times you try telling people, "I don't know what you're talking about.  My dad is not like that." Uncomfortable conversations ensue.  Few friends are made. By the time you're 30 you have bigger problems and you're done fighting about it. "Yeah! Jamaica Mon!" You're American anyhow, what does it matter?

I am curious though, I know the new DNC rules would force him to run as a democrat. If it came to a point where they "Bernie'd" him again, could he switch back and run as an independent?

I truly hope Bernie gets the nomination though and he won't be easy to ignore with the fund raising coffers he has. You have to remind yourself what we're dealing with here. If there is a policy proposal which doesn't appeal to a middle-aged, middle-class white male, who probably works in IT, then it is clearly part of a socialist plot. I mean, those are the only people who matter, right?

Just remember that the Trump/Fox plan is to scare the old folks. And it's working! have you see the extreme clutching of pearls when AOC is mentioned? When the Green New Deal is mentioned? None of any of this stuff has even started it's way to become legislation. And it will never get there unless severely modified. But you have people diving under their beds in fright.

I guess everyone has to feel superior to someone, so many on here have to assume they are the only ones with true insight.

If you read some of his followers comments on Twitter, it is kind of sad. There are hundreds of people who are setup for auto-pay to his campaign. I can't blame Bernie though, as he is capitalizing on the ignorance of the masses.
