***2022 Draft Day 3 thread***

Love consolidating two 6ths to trade up but that's a terrible pick. And then what would have been a really good pick Waletzko goes right after...

I dont think we needed to trade up for that. He wasnt in danger of being drafted until after where the jags originol pick was at I bet

How would you know if it's a terrible pick?

Don’t think I’ve ever seen him play, so not gonna crap on the pick. He gets in the end zone a lot. Maybe a good scheme fit, I dunno

Rocked up runner with aggressive disposition and relatively low mileage on his tires. Conner is a scheme-versatile runner, which could help him as he transitions to the next level. He's more than willing to choose violence on every snap but rarely allows that mindset to prevent him from seeking out less-trafficked pathways with his vision. He will run himself into some tackles because of his red-hot tempo, but ironically, he's a patient and highly effective short-yardage back. Conner's disappointing showing at the NFL Scouting Combine is hard to ignore, though, and could hurt his standing with evaluators. Conner has three-down talent and projects as a good committee back with the frame to carry a workload if needed.

I don't like this pick. He's one dimensional, poorly tested at the combine and they gave up picks to get him. He only had 304 carries over a 3 year stint. I don't think they had to trade up to get him. There were other running backs higher up on the board remaining than him that offer receiving abilities.

This is like drafting Carlos Hyde. Hopefully he proves me wrong.

Trading up makes sense. Too many picks, all of them wouldn't make the team. BUT -- why this pick? Maybe he's a good player, IDK. But I feel we could've helped Trevor Lawrence a bit better with some other picks.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

I do like trading for the 2023 4th though. Could have been a really nice handful of minutes for the team if they didn't blow it with the RB pick.

I don't know. Didn't see the full details. I like the 4th RD pick up in next year's draft. Hell, who knows. Maybe he's a James Stewart type back for us.

Snoop was a joy to watch at Ole Miss.

Ealy and Parrish got the bulk of snaps but everyone in the stands could see Snoop was the most NFL ready RB.

He is a mean no nonsense power runner.

Gonna be fun yelling his name in unison at the stadium if he pans out as a contributor.

Snoops measurables sounds like JR25. So reading the tea leaves i'd imagine they expect ETN to be close/ready week 1 and JR not as much. This guy I'd assume is here to bridge that gap for JR.

What picks do we have left?
