Who is, in your opinion, the most physically gifted player to ever put on a Jags uniform?

Quote:Ok, if you're going to use Desmond Howards short stint... Valid. oh, and another thing ...... how the hack can someone record a vertical jump of 39" ??? I guess that's why he played in the NFL and I'm sitting here eating chips at work while posting on the Jags Message Board. ![]() We show less advertisements to registered users. Calling Deshawn Watson a future bust since 3/19/17. If I eat crow, I will keep this in here and proclaim JackCity a genius.
Quote: In 1998 when Barry Sanders and Fred Taylor played in the same game, there might never have been a more TALENTED pair of RBs in an NFL game as that December day in Jax. Very true.

Is it limited to players, or can it be bloggers?

For just being a massive physical beast, I would say John Henderson had a few gifts given his size
According to our broadcast team. Boselli was a beast. And I have to agree.

This thread has me feeling nostalgic. In no particular order.

RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.
Quote:I believe that's like the third or fourth highest official vertical ever recorded I always liked him as a player. Grant, Darius, rookie version of Nelson its no wonder we are all critical of safety play. Even Sense was steady back there.

Grady Jackson was athletic enough as a 320 LB NT to dunk a basketball on regulation sized hoop.
I wonder what kind of times and jumps Myles Jack would record right now with him being something like 215 lbs.

Quote:You ever see adrian wilsons 66 inch jump? Blows my mind. J.J. Watt can do something similar. That is not the same thing. The vertical jump they measure at the Combine is how high you can get your hand up, not how high a barrier you can clear. Heck, if you want to measure how high a barrier you can clear, Olympic high jumpers can clear 90 inches. 66 inches is nothing. The vertical jump measurement is like this: stand there and hold your hand as high as you can. Now jump and see how high you can touch. The difference is your vertical jump. |
