Texts on one phone can be faked? It's hard to fake texts on someone else's phone.

If you know somebody is cheating, why would you take away their opportunity to cheat?  Wouldn't you rather catch them cheating so they could get in trouble for it?

 

If I knew a guy was breaking into homes, I would let the guy break into another and catch him in the act so that he would face punishment instead of locking down all the homes and leave the possibility there in the future.

Why don't they take away all cars so no one can speed? It's not like they don't know ahead of time that some people will do it if given the opportunity.

 

Heaven forbid we set rules and allow people to be held accountable for following those rules. You might as well throw away the constitution. We shouldn't be giving people the freedom to make a concious decision to break the law.

BUT... Goodell will never back down.

Cooperate with what?  What if the entire point of the Wells investigation was to get them to "fail to cooperate"? What effect did Tom Brady really have on the outcome of the Wells report? Are there really these magical texts out there that would convert his 248 page plot hole into a smoking gun?
