Week 15 College Football Playoff Rankings

Quote:Agreed. It is more difficult. But I think we sometimes get lost in the names. LSU isn't that great of a team this year. florida is obviously down. Texas A&M hasn't been that good. WVU is 7-5. Mississippi State and Ole Miss were their two toughest games. I don't think it is that crazy to say bama has not had that tough of a schedule.
I was simply agreeing with what you said.

And added that is was a little more difficult even with all the cupcakes.

Gotcha. I didn't read it correctly.

You're crazy if you think Alabama's schedule wasn't tough. 4th toughest by this site.

See FSU wayyyy down there at 45? Looks to me like FSU ate a lot of cupcakes this year.

When all was said and done, yes. But going in it looked pretty good and the effort to have a beefy schedule was there.

It depends how they rank them. I'm not sure how they come up with those rankings. I have a hard time believing that bama whose opponents records are a combined 71-79 (losing record) are 4th in the country.

Oklahoma State was better when we played them, but they had a lot of injuries.

I understand that FSU was trying to toughen up their schedule with quality non-con opponents. Unfortunately the most of the ACC is crappy and that isn't helping their cause. My point was that Alabama's schedule was anything but easy.

Easy? No, but it isn't 4th toughest in the country and not even close.

Everyone has injuries as the season goes along. Just as everyone will be the healthiest, for the most part, in game one. Injuries are part of the game.

True, but I heard differently from gator fans on that last year.

Anyways doesn't really matter.

Not my ranking. Alabama played 5 opponents ranked in the top 25 and beat the #1 ranked team in the country. FSU has played 3 teams ranked in the top 25 with Notre Dame being the highest ranked (when they played) team at #5. Might not have been the 4th toughest, but not that far away either.

It's far away. Their opponents record is combined 71-79. That just isn't anywhere near top 4.

I've already stated bama had a tougher schedule.

So if you think it's tougher why is the debate still going on?

This is true, but not everyone loses their QB for the season. Their play went down considerably since that injury. ND and Oklahoma st were good ooc opponents. ACC is still a power 5 conference and has experienced success from its teams at the top....louisville, Clemson, GT, Duke, and FSU. Similar to how the other power 5 conferences this year. A few good to great teams at top of each conference.

im hearing that FSU fans would rather play Alabama than Oregon.  Then what are you complaining about?  You should be thanking the committee.

I was discussing it first with Achilles. He said it was much tougher and eyestorm stated it was very tough and posted article about it being 4th toughest. I mean it's all there for you to read.

I stated that on the board and not sure who you are referring to, but I'm not complaining. As long as we get in the playoffs I'll be happy.

Then not sure why you asked the question.
