Possible defensive staff changes coming?

Source confirms #Jaguars  relieved the following coaches from contracts: Bullocks, O'Hara, Saleh, Sorrentino, Sullivan, Walker, Whitecotton

Shame about Sullivan.

Daniel Bullocks worked with the Jaguars DBs.  He was a Safety who was the Lions 2nd Round pick in 2006.   Unfortunately,  his career was derailed when suffering a knee injury in a pre-season game in 2007 on the dreaded turf in the then Indianapolis RCA Dome.

Quote:I think it was more the "big end" along with the soft zone that made people upset more than the LEO. The LEO just happened to be something to harp on that had to do with the scheme.

LEO? How about we get rid of the OTTO and get Jack on the field?

Quote: I don't recall the details of that game other than the Jaguars lost.

What I do remember is it felt like that Bill Musgrave's Offense wasn't a good fit for Byron Leftwich's skill set.

The Jags needed one first down in the 4th quarter to ice the game. Garrard was QB, and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, but was successful in every QB run. Musgrave didn't run Garrard once in the entire 4th quarter, instead calling a pass on 2nd and 6 and 3rd and 6 (roughly).

That's a brutal way to lose a must win game.

Correct me if I'm mistaken but wasn't that one of the coldest Jaguars home games ever?

This MB is like reading a class of schizos' post.  One minute it's fire everyone and Gus has hired his buddies who are ruining the team; and then the next, it's we kept the best guys on the staff and now the dead weight is gone.  Pick a side and stop trolling the middle people.  If GUS hired everyone and MB members complained about every position/coach except sullivan and Marrone and we werent successful;then it really doesnt matter who we hire if the Coach controls everyone's actions and reactions.

I guess i'm just confused with Marrone being at the helm and now everyone believes that we had the right pieces but it wasn't every coach just a few.  Also, glad to see everyone is OK with Wash now after bashing him all season after becoming DC.

Season Tix, Section 409

2023 and still counting.....SB will finally be ours soon enough.

It's totally shocking that there would be varied reactions from 500 individuals on a message board.

Just crazy.

From Kaye:

#ConnectingDots: Name to watch as a potential replacement at defensive backs coach is Washington Co-DCo Jimmy Lake. DB coach in TB w/ Wash.

Another dot connect, Jim O'Neil was Chip Kelly's DCo in SF last year. He was Marrone's linebackers coach in 2013. Going to be interesting.

If we don't hire them, we're a clueless organization.

That's what people are trying to get through to you. Gus isn't in charge anymore. You don't think Marrone will change the scheme?

You're wasting your time. He wants everyone fired. Once they get fired he complains about who they let go. Wait until they start hiring replacements he's never heard of.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Coming from a guy who said no way we hire Doug Marrone.

Let me quote FBT " Marrone isnt staying. None of the staff will be back in 2017"
