Brunell on ESPN. Anybody watch? Heard he said Jaguars appear headed to LA or London.

Unless it's intended. Are you really this dense, or just kidding? Well, either way - thanks for the laughs.

Quote:Yeah! He should have hired one of those fired GMs! You know, one of those guys that would have generated hundreds of posts (from you, probably) taking about retreads and losers, etc. Yeah you're right. Tom Coughlin was no longer wanted here. Bill Polian. Andy Reid. Tony Dungy. Bill Belichick. All fired! And I specifically said at the END OF THE DEL RIO this team needed someone with experience. We didn't get it did we, now look at us. But let's keep going to the well of inexperience and hope and pray and cross our fingers we find a good one. Quote:Yeah you're right. Tom Coughlin was no longer wanted here. Bill Polian. Andy Reid. Tony Dungy. Bill Belichick. All fired! So you wanted Bill Polian? Yeah, right.

Quote:So you wanted Bill Polian? Yeah, right. You really don't know how to debate do you? You said "So we need to only always hire some one who is no longer wanted?" All those guys were no longer wanted. Talk to Giants fans, talk to Patriot fans, talk to Colts fans, and ask them if they had your idea. Regards...........the Chiefjag Quote:You bought a dictionary back in the eighties not the internet age, kind of like your hot tub time machine motorcycle.I feel like this is 4th grade debate material. Quote:This doesn't help your argument.Based on how the lease is structured, turning a profit, regardless of how its derived, eliminates one of the key components in breaking it. They have to show a financial loss for 3 consecutive years. The league won't let a franchise move if breaking a lease is required and there's not good cause otherwise. The team cant claim the city isn't maintaining the facility, especially after they finish major renovations next year. We won't even discuss the tax advantage here in the states vs. the income derived in England. Not making enough profit isn't grounds to break the lease. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Quote:You really don't know how to debate do you? You said You really don't know how to think, do you? Coughlin is the GM? News to me. Polian irritated everyone who hired him, but I'm sure you'd grab him. Bilicheck is not a GM. Since he's become the defacto GM he's not had the success the team had earlier. You must love baseball, where it's tradition to recycle guys over and over. So who is this great guy Khan missed on?

I don't know about you, but I'd prefer having a coach (and coaching staff for that matter) that knows how to skate, to keep with your metaphore, than one that is getting in the rink for the first time... But that's just me...
Brunell's response may not have been what some people want to hear but you would have to have your head in the sand not to think the move to London is a distinct possibility. If another small market franchise was giving up 4 premier home games to London, what would you think?
He was a good QB. Nobody said he was smart.

Dude is obviously trying to gather attention. First he talks about us and London, then goes on later to tweet that Seattle is not "Elite". He is clearly trying to incite twitter battles. What a clown. It's my opinion he should be eliminated from all things Jaguars. I will call him on the show and ask him what it was like to have Sancheese wipe his nose turds all over him.
Looking to troll? Don't bother, we supply our own.
Quote:Details like this don't bode well for the "they're trying to create a situation where the team loses money for 3 consecutive years" crowd: Ahhh, I see you are finally coming around FBT. We argued about this pretty heavily earlier this year about London and Khan. However, like a cop who wants to pull over a driver for a secondary violation, he'll find an excuse to pull that guy over. In other words, he may not use that as an excuse, but as we all know, there are ways around it. IF, there was a scenario wereas they could move to London, I'm sure Goodell will help, bend, twist, ignore or revamp the rules. No way it happens soon, but to ignore it would ne naive.

I'm not 100% there yet, but I think what has transpired over the past year has eased my concerns considerably. I'm on board with this as well. But one eye will still be open as I sleep. I don't think it will happen within a couple years, but to think it'll never happen, doesn't know the NFL, it's owners and their commissioner puppet. As we've all sai a million times...put out a winning product, and they will come. Remain with the status quo, and within a few years, we could conceivably see " Mayflower Freighters" docked at Tallyrand. It would kill me to see this happen, and if it did, no way will I support the team. It wouldn't be ours anymore. Sickens me just thinking about it"...... I'm off to the Sideline
