Sounds good.  From now on we will give one 12 hrs to make the pick

It doesn't have to be 12 hours. But there should be a reasonable time between picks.

The Seahawks need OL help, DL help, secondary help.

Giving immediate help to protect Wilson would make sense but counting on his mobility, given the CB depth on this draft and because of the Clowney situation still up in the air and their lack of pass rush last season they make the choice to go with pass rusher in the first round.

The Seattle Seahawks select: Yetur Gross-Matos

Totally agree.

There were no rules stated in the beginning but I think last year we said 8 hours? And multiple PMs?

If I were a Dolphins fan I would be very unhappy if they started this rebuild with a running back in the first round.

DM'd him.

IIRC last year we also tried to post a top-three on our board or something if our pick was approaching so that we didn't hold up the darft.

We have been flying through the first round, though.  Good to see.

The Ravens check their board and double check to make sure they aren't seeing things. They can't believe their luck, The Baltimore Ravens select Patrick Queen.

Most mocks and even Dolphins fans have them picking a RB in the first or second round.

They were dead last in rushing yards/game. Taking the best RB of this class for a terrible offense is not illogical.

It is if you have holes just about everywhere other than CB.

And swift isn’t even the consensus best back.

It just doesn't do anything for the team. It's going to be 2-3 years before they are good again, and by then it'll be almost time to give Swift his big 2nd contract that kills literally every teams salary cap.

Drafting a first round RB should be a no no to begin with, drafting a first round RB when you are in the early stages of your rebuild should be a fireable offense.

Everywhere other than CB ?

LB : Van Noy, Jerome Baker, Raekwon McMillan
DL : Taco Charlton, Shaq Lawson, Emmanuel Ogbah, Davon Godchaux
WR : DeVante Parker, Preston Williams
TE : Mike Gesicki

They need OT, QB, RB in priority. They are not going anywhere with Kalen Ballage and Jordan Howard.

So you're a need drafter?
Crazy you took Swift over all the other RBs

I have nothing against the BAP strategy, but yes, I think the draft is one essential way to fill holes in your roster. That's why I would hate to see the Jaguars pick Tua at 9 if he is available. Give a chance to Minshew, we have too many holes in our secondary and Oline.

My favorite available players were Patrick Green, Grant Delpit and Swift. I think the Phins need more help on offense, and Swift is my favorite RB.

Sorry if you guys disagree, but it's just a game  Wink

....should we have a separate thread for discussion?

has anyone sent ColoJag a pm?

While I wouldn't have taken a RB in the first either, it's absolutely not crazy that he took Swift... Swift is by far the bookies favorite to be the first RB drafted.
