I like that QB!

Do you know where Rice, Moss, and TO played college?  The top 3 WRs of All time

Let's see... No Google cheating, right?  Marshall for sure...  Missouri Valley State or something like that for Rice... TO - not sure there.  Whatsamatta U?

For those who championed Justyn Ross coming to the Jags, he had his Pro Day and it was miserable. He ran a very slow 4.63/40 and only had a 31.5" vertical. I hope this puts an end to those wanting us to draft him. His body is shot!

Oof. Was hoping for a 4.4 there. Ah well. David Bell would probably be a safer bet or Jalen Tolbert in RD3.

Agreed. Tolbert has more overall upside and Bell is one of the elite route runners in this class. Ross has just had way too much physical trauma done to his body and it's breaking down. I don't see him lasting over 3 years total in the NFL, if that long.

Sad to see because he once looked like a sure fire top talent. Ah well, football can be a brutal sport

I think some of these guys who played great but test a little slow could be a great get in round 3. However, I would agree we need speed at pick 33.

The underdog people (Norris won the award for most accurate mock drafter out of the hundreds of competitors) went in on the round 2-3 WRs today. As you will see if you watch, yikes to basically all of them. Most of them are slot guys (Skyy would be dope if we didn't have Kirk), Watson has several giant red flags, and Pickens is probably the best of the group but also has plenty of concerns. There's just no way any of them will be even close to BAP at 33.

Sorry.  Couldn't help myself.  I agree.  We need a speed guy with good hands.

Agreed. Personally, if we can't get one of the top receivers, I'm hoping that Zion Johnson slips to pick #33 and we'd have our franchise Center for the next 10 years.

I would be happy with Zion or Linderbaum at 33, not Kenyon Green. I would be thrilled with Cine or Mafe. I would also be happy with one of the good LB even though I am still sure a very good one will be there at 65.

The dream for 65 and 70 is Pierce and Jelani or Dulcich.

Johnson is a guy ive liked for a while at 33, I just don't think he will be there. He would be a great get at 33 if available

Considering the top WRs are likely off the board for the Jags at 33, time to move into tier 2.

That's the video I linked just a few posts above lol. The problem is, none of those guys are worth 33.

I think they said they were doing their day 3 WR video today or at least soon, I look forward to seeing their breakdown of Pierce and Thornton I think they're prime candidates for our 3rd rounders.

Pierce I would consider as a 3rd rounder. I'm not considering Thornton until round 4. He just not polished enough for me. He has the abilities, but imo, he may take a while to develop. He reminds me of a taller version of Tyler Lockett. Lockett is very good now, but took several seasons to get to this point.

Hahahaha

My bad. I'll delete because I 100% didn't see it.

I also didn't know Watson was 23 years old....

Nope that's a new and large red flag for me. I also knew his drop rate was a problem but didn't know it was THAT big of a problem. He's no longer under consideration for me at 33. No WR is to be honest.

It's gotta be another defender unless Zion or Linderbaum surprisingly fall. Cine, Daxton, Mafe, or one of the many LB.

I don't disagree about Thornton, but if you're waiting until round 4 I don't think you're getting him. No matter who which WR we draft we aren't getting much 2022 impact. Might as well be a guy like Thornton who looks like he could be a beast if he develops.

He's not, hes 22. Hes less than a year older than Dotson.  That's a good thing imo.  A more matured WR for Trev and I don't think will take as long to develop

Maybe I would miss out on him, but I'm sticking to my draft board. Reaching is what put us in the situation we are in now. I cannot believe how many players we have completely whiffed on in recent drafts. We have to turn this thing around at some point. Don't we? I kinda feel like we are doomed to be stuck in this infinite loop of selecting the wrong players. Maybe I'm just being cynical due to years of watching this team crash and burn, but I just don't feel very good about this draft. I have a bad feeling we're gonna do something stupid.

They do age curves based on how old they will be on week 1 of the regular season. Watson will be 23.3, one of the oldest players in this class.
