Quote:TMD... he is 6'0 .. since when is that small? As said before, Maybe its just a preference thing. I like WR like Vincent Jax, Demaryus Thomas, Fitzgerald, Megatron, The Bears duo, i,e, bigger WR that are quick for their size and make big plays downfield in chunks. I would have prefered Matthews or Adams with that pick. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
lolz for all you saying he is slow watch the tape.. He dosent play slow.. Also I kinda saw the Steve smith comparison too. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ldib8lAF3Gg
Quote:5'11 192 4.5 speed maybe slow is the wrong word, but not as fast as you'd like a guy to be at the position.. Mike Thomas was built better than him Mike Thomas is 5'8...
yep i am correct.. he had a BETTER BROAD JUMP AND VERT than sammy watkins
the hate train on this pick is even too much for me to handle this kid is an elite WR END of story
Quote:Well sure, who wouldn't want that? There was no one like that in this draft. And if you say Benjamin... Matthews is almost 6' 4.,,and uber productive. Makes the tough catch. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
I'm ok with the pick. I was leaning towards Matthews more but hey, I'll trust Caldwell.
Quote:As said before, Maybe its just a preference thing. thats fine, i would prefer a 6'8 wr myself... but lee is better than matthews or adams...by like a mile he was a top 10 considered pick for a reason.. in fact 2 years ago there was talk of him being a top 3 pick lock and the absolute stud WR of all of college football go look it up if you dont remember
Quote:This is a GREAT pick..For heck's sake. Did you miss the eight page thread on the guy or did you think your opinion warranted an entirely new thread?
I probably would have leaned toward a slightly larger receiver, but I do like Lee's ability and burst after the catch.
I'll play the wait and see game before complaining, but I definitely had a couple of receivers targeted before him. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

I also think Smith is faster, but less of a disparity. Quote:medical risk? he had a shoulder and a knee sprain... nothing that is chronic in any way shape or formYea I dont get people complaining about the injury, he played 3 years at USC and only had some injuries last year, I mean its football your gonna get hurt, its nothing serious, yea he dropped but we got a 1st round talent in the 2nd round its worth the risk. This is 2014 Adrian Peterson had a torn ACL came back and rushed for over 2000 yards, minor injures are not that big a deal, we took the guys with huge injury red flags off the board

I find it hard not be optimistic about drafting one of the top QBs and top WRs in the draft.
Now we need a C and RG
I absoultely LOVE this pick. But I must agree with TMD that I do prefer big WR's, and Matthews I liked a little bit more, but I don't see how you can complain. We just went and got a likely playmaker at WR for our young QB we just got. That is what we needed.
i mean read this... plz.. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2014/profiles/m...id=2543475
states everything I have stated before I even read it... he has elite short area burst and change of direction quickness.. that is the most imprtant speed aspect of a WR... not strait line speed however, he was a track runner at USC, specifically sprinter... 4.52 means nothing... if you make 1 tecnhical flaw you can lose .5 seconds... he's a 4.4 guy and I PROMISE YOU he runs faster on teh football field than mike evans who ran in the high 4.4's

I'm more concerned over his hands and route running.. He ran pretty decent routes for the most part but he drops so many passes.. very talented and hopeful his knees will heel up back to sprinter speed but he has to catch the ball
