lol ..... I'm expecting a wave of various Hurricane usernames forthcoming.  I've been on fire with my recent posts over the past few months and my loyal following is growing.  Soon, I will be like the David Koresh of this message board !!!

I think it's more likely that you'll see a lot of parody accounts of your hot takes in the form of "Light Drizzle" "Chance of Showers" etc. in the same vein of "The Happy Cat" user which popped up in response to TMD ... The Happy Cat's signature parodying TMD's was pure GOLD.

Typhoon or Cyclone works too....ya know, I’m starting to get ideas

3 tackles
2 pressures
1 sack
7 snaps wherein he shed his block entered the backfield and stood there smelling his fingers while the QB scrambled for a first down

Against backups, yikes.

That's being nice. They were the backups to the backups.

You realize that those two charts are just more pieces to the puzzle when evaluating someone right? It's not an end all be all but an extremely useful tool to help evaluate players.

You and many others don't really have an understanding as to how analytics work.

No one who is likes to include analytics has sever said that they're more than just a piece of the puzzle, but old school and/or simple minded people try to make it seem that way because it's easier to attack a caricature than adapt.

At best, I have said it before but the guy has 0 football instincts. Reaction time way too slow. Being athletic only gets you so far in the NFL. That being said he was not even a force in college.

You may ultimately be right but it's very difficult to know for sure after a single rookie campaign. He has shown flashes of the physical skills necessary so still a chance he'll get it turned around.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

My favorite was FBT's name for TMD: The Angry Chihuahua; second was Fargin calling Tennessee fan Psychop, Pork Chop ("That's great news, Pork Chop, but your team still...", etc.)

On topic: Taven will destroy the tittians on Thursday 9/19. (don't answer, it's just to be "on-topic".)

Not even a matter of instincts, the dude just seems too laid back to be on the D line. I like those guys to be angry, bitter monsters that see offenses as the guys who say bad things about their mommas.

Taven probably blushes if he hears a swear, and that would be exactly how he'd word it.

Alualu was a good football player for us.  If Alualu had been drafted in Taven's spot instead of top 10, there would have been a lot less to complain about with him.

Exactly what I was gonna say...10 year career is far from a bust.

Didn't Alualu hurt his knee his very first day of training camp with us while doing the Oklahoma drill? If I remember right they had him matched up with another guy from the islands. Manuwai I assume (Naeole wouldnt have been here then right?). I'd like t think his knee already has some prior wear to it and the oklahoma drill was the straw that broke the camel's back. Although you never know. If he had never hurt his knee, it's possible he lives up to those high expectations. Was a serviceable player for a long time but supposedly never got his quickness back after the knee injury.

It was complicated by the fact that Alualu refused to have much needed surgery on the knee for years. I seem to recall him saying he refused surgery for years for religious reasons, but I can't find anything to back that up anymore.
