Lets play a mock draft game

Quote:Here's a challenge for someone....

Is it possible to get a high-quality pass rusher, a linebacker and a free safety in the draft?

Or are we realistically looking at two from that list and then depth players/prospects?

Best I could do, not sure how sold I am on Floyd in the 2nd, would rather take Vernon Butler in that spot(he was there though I doubt it in real life)

Nice one. I wonder about Joseph making it to the third round or not, but that would be great.  The combine might shake things up one way or the other, but I have a feeling Joseph goes a bit before our third round pick.

CBS just updated their CBS bigboard on fanspeak.  Going off of it, Hargreaves went first!

Which draft do you guys like better out of those 2?  Jack and Bosa was gone in the 2nd mock, I would of took Hargreaves in the 2nd draft but I know a lot on here dont think he is worth the 5 pick so I tried a draft with Ramsey.

I like them both - but the second is better to me.  All depends on who is acquired in FA, but assuming we land a good pass rusher in FA the second one is great. Though I'm not hip to the 6th and 7th rounders.

<div style="font-family:Orbitron, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:16px;">This draft adds a CB/S in Ramsey, but that's it for the secondary. Would be banking on signing at least one safety from the FA crop of Gipson, Weddle, etc.
No DE selected... I suspect we aquire a big time FA and a mid tier guy. Along with Fowler a Vernon and Young FA pair would be solid.
Didn't even realize I neglected those positions just how the draft fell

My latest using the CBSSports.com board. A couple of thoughts here:
  • I went with Jack over Ramsey just because I think Jack can have a greater impact both early on in his career and long term.
  • Braxton Miller because he's Braxton Miller and that he's basically a safety net for the team if Marqise Lee doesn't pan out. If Lee does pan out, then you have two really dangerous weapons on Offense.
  • Day is an injury risk, but if he can pull it all together, he can be Marks 2.0 I think.
  • Blair is your Small School Pass Rusher. Will he pan out? Maybe. But that's what the 6th round is for.
  • Luke Rhodes because Linebacker.
