Tyler Lockett's preseason production isn't the result of him playing against inferior competition. It's the same kid that dominated the big 12 with bad QB play, dominated the senior bowl practices, and put up elite numbers at the combine. There's a reason the Seahawks traded their entire draft to move up and get him early in the 3rd round, he has the looks of an elite slot receiver and kick/punt returner. I can't speak for every fan but I was certain DC would take him in the 3rd given our need for a slot receiver and returner, they also coached him at the Senior bowl. At this point it obviously doesn't matter, but so far it looks like Dave missed out on a dynamic playmaker this team so desperately needs.

  The Seahawks didn't come close to getting what they hoped for when trading for Percy Harvin from the Vikings.   This despite the Super Bowl performance by Harvin against the Broncos.   I think there's a great chance they will be thrilled with the results from Lockett.

I agree with all if this D6, the guy ate up some pretty good corners in the big 12, great route runner with elite quickness, acceleration and speed. I though he could've gone as high as the 2nd round given his production and upside, given the success of smaller receivers in the NFL these days that would've been great value.

I really think the seahawks got a key player for their next run in Lockett. I believe he will finally be their go to guy.

Is he going to get the bulk of the carries or will he be splitting time with Bell and with Zenner becoming the goaline/TD vulture?
