2015 NBA Playoffs Thread

Quote:So Josh got reported because he wouldn't accept a bet?

That is a stretch isn't it?

The report was for the 3 straight combative and insulting PMs after I civilly offered a bet. For what I've received warnings for, this seemed warranted.

Orlando, as Trav pointed out to me, is 6 1/2 games behind Miami. Will they be within 10 by the end of the season? I'd think so, but maybe not considering the way Orlando is trending. Shouldn't young teams be getting better as the season progresses?

Within 10, yes, I would still roll with five.

Interesting.

.... Orlando is so comparable to the Jags.

Young talent.  No translation to wins (when you factor in how weak the Eastern Conference is this year).  Coaching situation still questionable.

Last nights game was horrible.  They've taken some steps back recently.

Yep .... Part coaching and I think part of the demise is age related.  Those young players are hitting the wall.  7 players  age 22 and under.

Oladipo - age 22

Payton - 20

Fournier - 22

Harris - 22

Marble - 22

---------

Harkness - 21

A. Gordon - 19

*Harkness & Gordon haven't played in most games

Vucevic - 24

I almost posted an age thing yesterday and being a bit run down. But that sounds like a huge excuse, so I held back, but I personally think that's a factor.

Dunk contest participants.  Don't see many 7 footers in it anymore.  Not really any big names, but I'll still watch it.

Milwaukee's Giannis AntetokounmpoMinnesota's Zach LaVineOrlando's Victor Oladipo and Brooklyn's Mason Plumlee

Noel is the third best big at defending the rim in the entire league behind Ibaka and Duncan. 47.8% against.

Jerami Grant and KJ McDaniels both showing some real promise for worthless second rounders people like to mock Hinkie for acquiring. Found a legit piece of the future core in Covington.

Season is a smashing success thus far.

Cousins, Vucevic, and Lillard got snubbed from the All-Star game.

There are snubs every year in All-Star games, in all sports.

Yeah but Demarcus Cousins was a HUGE snub. He is averaging 24 and 12 and 1.6 blocks. Not only should he have made it, he should be starting.

He's a beast on my fantasy team. I agree, biggest snub. The other "snubs" don't have near the case. I find it hard to take someone off and put the others on.

I would've liked to see Vuc get in over Bish or Horford, but oh well. I'm sure Lillard will make it for Kobe.

Well looks like Cousins will go in as an injury replacement for Kobe. Good for him.

Also looks like JV's days as Magic HC are very numbered.

He won't be around much longer.
