BCC breakdown on one of the many reasons our defense is struggling (Poz)

Quote:Lewis part was referenced to being overpaid, which they both are. But at least Lewis does some things well. Who cares what they get paid?

We always have to have a whipping boy, so we can act like we actually know what's going on out there. Marcedes isn't playing. Alualu has been beaten to death, Henne has been benched. Poz is elected this week's whipping boy. Prepare for 50 more pages of debate about how Poz is the reason for our defensive failures.
Quote: Haha I remember watching this game with my buddies, and yelling CSIII's name all the way down field like a school girl. After he scored they both looked at me and said, "who the hell is Cecil Shorts"? Haha it was classic

Welcome to party, I can tell your late by your ignorant whipping boy post, no one is solely singling Poz out, we've acknowledged he's one of many issues on this awful defense. After he scored they both looked at me and said, "who the hell is Cecil Shorts"? Haha it was classic The really funny part is that for about half of the season that year it looked like Gabbert might actually turn into a decent QB. Mularky must have worked really hard covering up all of his deficiencies.

Yea it was get the ball out as quickly as possible (to your first read), if it's not there take a sack or throw it away, he was coached to be conservative because he was so bad. I hate thinking about Gabbert. Just so terrible at every level. Must suck for him knowing he's going down in the books with Ryan Leaf as biggest busts of all time.

Quote:Gabbert had two good/decent games that year... which was two years ago, not last year Yes, I already edited it to correct the last year part. I think we underestimated just how good Mularkey was at propping Gabbert up somehow, though, because he's been hot garbage since then.
Quote:I hate thinking about Gabbert. Just so terrible at every level. Must suck for him knowing he's going down in the books with Ryan Leaf as biggest busts of all time. Ryan Leaf is in a league (no pun intended) of his own when it comes to bust, especially considering his off the field issues. Blaine compares favorably to similar guys in his draft class such as the incompetent Christian Ponder and the fragile Jake Locker, at least Ponder got a hot wife out of the deal. Quote:Yes, I already edited it to correct the last year part. he was hot garbage then too, you just didn't realize it Quote:Ryan Leaf is in a league (no pun intended) of his own when it comes to bust, especially considering his off the field issues. At least Ponder got to the playoffs and Locker is somewhat decent. We cheered when Gabbert could complete a 5 yard slant he was so bad. Yeah that really sucks.

Some of you are just too sensitive. And some of you are sheep. Get back to me when you grow up and can discuss a topic without resting to this idiocy. ^ Of course Branch warranted some criticism - but there are a half dozen DE's starting in the league right now that did next to nothing in their first two years and grew into productive players. It's not an uncommon scenario for DEs - and many of the BCC regulars refused to consider that an option. Whatever - it's not even relevant. Poz struggles in coverage. We've known this for years. Next?
Quote:Not really a fair comparison since Poz played at a pro bowl level last year In my opinion Poz has never played at a legitimate pro bowl level, but if getting a pro bowl bid Garrard style makes you feel more secure about it then good for you. |
