Ace Sanders

Quote:Ace Sanders is just lucky that Doss' ankle has been an issue all offseason, otherwise, he might be gone.

Doss, unlike Sanders, actually led the NFL in punt returns last year, in the regular season, where it matters.

I don't see how anyone can look at the Sanders GIF and think to themselves "yeah, thats a normal amount of cushion/ space for an NFL punt return".... Laughing

But because it benefits Sanders, (an extremely average player who is an infraction away from a year suspension and they lhave some odd love for that) they ignore the fact that pretty much any healthy player or even most healthy fans could have gotten that return with that amount of space.
Ok for the 4th time.

Doss had plenty of room on a couple punt returns.  Even more room than Sanders and did absolutely nothing.

The way you have been hyping up Doss I was expecting something more than 2 yrds per return.

Maybe his ankle was an issue, I don't know.  But from what I saw, I was not impressed.

So lemme get this straight: Ace Sanders has had more receptions, receiving yards, the same amount of receiving TD's, more kick returns and yardage and THROWN for more TDs in one year than Doss has his entire career....but Doss is a superior player because he "LED THE LEAGUE IN PUNT RETURN YARDAGE!!! A NFL STAT AT AN NFL LEVEL!!!"

Even put it in quotes, i love it.  No one, except for you making up an argument to argue against, said that.  We are all pointing out your faulty assessment of "15 - 20 yard cusion".  You're reading comprehension is awful.

Given that Doss not only was recovering from an ankle injury but hurt it again, he obviously wasn't healthy and was trying to rush back.

Thats likely why Doss, the NFL's league leader in PR average in the regular season last year, didn't do much with his return chances last night.

No, but you're all ignoring that basic inherent point.

Whether it was 12 or 15 yards of cushion s really picking at straws in the scheme of things.

NFL punt returners rarely get that level of cushion on returns.

Doss is/ was clearly still hampered from the ankle issues.

Doss led the National Football League in return yardage in the regular season last year. He's better than Sanders is at returns, To argue against that is foolish.

With minimum 20 attempts, Tandon Doss led the NFL with 15.3 per punt return

Oh, there it is!  Doss had 8 more attempts and less average.  Doss didn't lead the NFL in any single stat.

Oh, so you don't buy into a minimum amount of attempts to be considered for league leaders?? LOL I'd love to see who you pimp for your QB rating leaders....guys that are 2ndd stringers and have 33 attempts but a rating that LEADS THE LEAGUE?? Laughing

Whatever you need to do to support your agenda.

I'll do the same thing:

With 15 minimum attempts, Jeremy Ross led the NFL in punt return average.

I'm i doing this right?
