Sammy Watkins #3 will make us not care as much about Blackmon... just sayin

 

The biggest problem with drafting Watkins is, we SHOULD have a much bigger need than WR, like QB or DE... We shouldn't even need a WR at all with JB's talent. It's friggin sad that we finally decided to draft one of college's top WR's and they turn out to be a headcase. It feels like we're going backwards in drafting a WR in the 1st round. 

 

Then again I'm drinking, so maybe I shouldn't condone my previous statement.

Blackmon isn't so talented that his presence on the roster should even factor into anything. If a true #1 Megatron type were available the Jaguars should be taking that guy no matter what, even if they already have Randy Moss.

 

Remember how stupid the Trailblazers were passing on Michael Jordan? Don't be the Trailblazers.

 

So, to repeat, Blackmon isn't that talented, and never pass on an elite player because you think you have a need at a position for a guy who isn't elite.
