Damn man, this thread took some turns on you didn't it? Lmbo.

To get to the point, those are some kick [BLEEP] cornhole boards. I have a buddy that makes them as well. He makes a score board deal as well you may want to start throwing in. It is basically a thin sheet of wood that is the same color scheme as the boards and numbered 0-21 on both sides mounted to a 4x4. The 4x4 is held upright in a 5 gallonbucket. you use clothes pins to move up and down numbers to keep score. We Use the same thing for horseshoes.

Just got back from playing cornhole in the rain. I have no clue what is in the bags I just used but we were throwing bricks at the hole. Talk about bounce! LOL

BTW, nice boards!

I imagine wet bags don't throw well. But were the board kinda flimsy?
My boards allow for a slide not a bounce. But I have never played in the rain haha

I actually have an uncle in Ohio that competes (American Cornhole Association - yes, that's a thing) all around Ohio, Kentucky and Western Pennsylvania.  He's won a number of tournaments and placed highly in many more. (Senior division.)

This information was shared with me a couple of years ago then this thread reminded me, so I looked up the ACO website, and sure enough, there's my uncle's name all over the leaderboards for the seniors division in that region.

Guess I'll have to try my hand at this game. Maybe I've got the genes. (very doubtful)

I did not know that was a thing. I have seen some real good players though. I have seen guys who peg the hole almost every toss.

I did not do any of the work. One of my buddies made them for me.

The boards were flimsy yes. The issue was the bags were heavy and hard. When they hit the hole dead on the bag would not fold into the hole. The real issue and the only thing that mattered was the beer was cold. https://duvalpride.com/images/smilies/smile.png

All that ever really matters is that the beer is cold!

It's a game where you drink massive quantities of alcohol while tailgating or simply blowing off the day.
