Sugar Bowl: Alabama vs Oklahoma

How ironic would a return TD have been there?

Come on AJ, prove to me you aren't Henne.

AJ McCarron = Fiendish hybrid of Blaine Gabbert and Chad Henne

AJM sucks.

McCarron has to know the pressure's coming. Zero awareness. Alabama collapsed in epic fashion tonight in almost all phases.

Not THE worst guy I've scouted thus far, but close. Proved everyone right who thought he was a product of the cast.

Cyrus got abused. Was hoping McCarron would love a great td drive. Not a good ending point for both future pros

What a stunning Sugar Bowl Game and finish. McCarron I think just went from a late 1st round-2nd round draft pick, to a 4th round draft pick lol. And so the Saban dynasty goes up in flames.

I would be ecstatic to get an Alex Smith in the 5-6th round.

He was never going to be a first rounder.

I hope you don't believe that one game did that.

Saban should have just kept running the ball all night. It's almost like he was intent on showcasing AJ.....smh

Correct. No NFL level guy ever identified him as a first round guy. He's always been a UDFA sort of target.

If he went out there, put Bama on his back and won the game with his arm, I'd feel there was something there worth investigating but since he shriveled under the pressure and was exposed as the guy who reaps the reward of a pristine pocket, robust running game, and the best physical talent available as receivers. There's a reason he didnt wanna go to the Senior Bowl and showcase that noodle arm and Alabama entitlement
