Scientists discover hormone that blocks marijuana buzz
A naturally occurring hormone acts as spontaneous defense in the brain against the high caused by marijuana and could be useful in preventing addiction, researchers said Thursday.


French researchers studied lab rats and found that the steroid hormone pregnenolone reduced the activity of a particular brain molecule called the type-1 cannabinoid receptor (CB1).

Well, if you don't meet them does that mean they don't exist? No. Marijuana can have the same addictive qualities as cigarettes. And this is just the physical side of it. People, most definitely CAN get addicted to almost anything in some way, shape, or form....particularly mentally. I have a good friend, who by the way is 63, that goes through more weed than I thought was humanly possible. He even jokes about his THC-meter bumping bottom after a couple of HOURS. So please don't try to come off as some sort of authority on this. It's quite possible, and this is coming from someone that has burned more than a couple over his lifetime.
