OSU at OU was entertaining last year. When Noah Brown caught a TD pass by literally hugging a defensive back, it was instantly put in the "Play of the Year" category. Never mind it was only Week 2. I am hoping we see another wild play in the rematch at Ohio Stadium.

NFL scouts will do a lot of things to figure out why he did not play well enough in that game.

It's because he was playing against talent...

just my guess though, I'm not an NFL scout by any means.

TBH... looking over last years stats... he wasn't great in a lot of games, even against weaker teams than Iowa

The offense with a new young QB and an OL injury bug has a lot to figure out but the defense looked really strong last week. Josey Jewell was a monster at LB against Wyoming.

The quarterback of the future is still in high school. Matt Corral is something special.

Right now I only care about the quarterbacks of the present. If Filippe Franks is the guy, he better stay in there all four quarters barring injury.

UCLA vs. Hawaii


I'm a Bruins fan.

I'm gonna be at this game Saturday.  I'm assuming UCLA is going to win big.  Although maybe they'd need to fall behind early to get themselves going.

Dont think my college football road tour will be quite as exhaustive this year as last when I went to 10 different games.  My current plan this year is to do the UCLA Hawaii game since I'll be out there with some time to kill.  Thinking of doing LSU Miss St the following weekend.... Miss St is one of the last remaining SEC campuses I havent been too.  Then heading up to Nashville for the Vandy Bama game the weekend after.  Definitely doing the Vandy at South Carolina game in October and the Mizzou at Vandy game the weekend before thanksgiving.


Trying to get a buddy to go up to the Minnesota Michigan game the first weekend of November.  He needs to square it away with his wife.  Whipped.  But I'm pretty excited about Ann Arbor if this works out.

Also going to be staying in Flagstaff later in the year spending some time out in the Grand Canyon.  Staying at a hotel right next to Northern Arizona's campus and I see they have a home game that weekend.  Dont think I'd make much of an effort but if we happen to be back from the grand canyon and we're walking downtown to get some dinner, if the game happens to be going on, I imagine we'd probably walk in for a half just to see it.
