If we beat the Titans will you take Jags seriously?

I think we have the best defense in the NFL and we have a top 5 RB in my IMO. I'm already taking us serious. We have to get rid a few people to move to the next level but next year we're going to be superbowl contenders.

How is everyone else starting 0-3 this season? One week at a time, sir.

We don't need to beat Tennessee the same way we beat Houston to prove it. Actually it would be better to win a different way so everybody can see we are not one-dimensional.

Nah... I'd take the same ol defensive drumming every week.
Bunch of sacks... a pick or two... 100 yards rushing no turnovers no sacks by offense...

I would be completely OK with 18 more wins just like it.

Assuming most of the defensive starters are healthy and remain effective then I do believe we have a legitimate top five defense. I also believe Fournette is probably a top five back assuming he's also healthy. The rest of the offense I think can at least be middle of the league quality or better. If the coaching holds up the team should be good for double digit wins thanks to the schedule.

By one-dimensional I meant well more than 21 pass attempts. Opponents will game plan stopping #27 all day if we don't mix it up more.

They did that Sunday.
Fournette faced 8 man boxes over half of the time.
And like I said... I'd take one-dimensional every time if it leads to a win.

Let's just beat them like we did last year.

Oh yeah, I would love that - minus the extremely painful QB switch. With more talent on defense, we can even hold them to less than 17 points in addition to piling on 38.

This goes back to my post about conservative football.

A lot fewer would complain about being one dimensional if the run-pass attempts were reversed.

The irony is, we're less one dimensional now than we were last year.

Houston was one of the best pass rushes last season.  The ease with which they were stymied Sunday tells me they are likely not playing at the same level in 2017.

Their run defense allowed 4 YPC and near 100 yds per game last season, so it was not on the same level as their pass rush. A pass rush that only saw 21 pass attempts Sunday.

They looked better last night against Cincy than they did against us.

They did, indeed.  Largely because the bungles passed it 35 times compared to our 21.  (and keep giving up linemen)

They likely had a bit of a fire lit under their butts as well after that debacle on Sunday.

If you only look at 2017 statistics, Blake Bortles > Andy Dalton by a long shot.

So does A.J. Green. I was surprised when I saw his statistics because all I can remember are drops LOL.

The Defense they have reminds me of the Jags before this year.
