Fournette is the Real Deal

Yeldon will be back so his carries might not be so much.

hope he's good, but I bet at least 5-6 backs in this class turn out better

If Fournette had a QB that was a threat to make a pass he would be lighting it up like Zeke did last year. That run where he was slammed at the line then ran back around the oline to get a 4 yard gain was something few backs can do.

He was still close to breaking a few today. I really think the incessant need to throw Ivory in there hurts him.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

Yeah he needs to get the rock 25 times a game. Stop spelling him all the time.

He's no Derrick Henry and it showed. King Henry's trucking company came to town and took over.

Two, he was a shoe string tackle away from a couple of breakaway runs which would have increased his per yard average to 5.0 or higher.

Agreed.  Fournette is only unpopular with homers who wear their garnet and gold on Saturdays.  At the end of the day, he makes the most of the opportunities given to him, and he will eventually break big runs.  He's already close.  The guy runs hard, and he hits the crease quickly.  He never goes down on first contact and continues to fight for extra yardage.  He's a lot like MJD in that regard.  I'd love to see them find a way to incorporate him more into the passing game because if you get the kid in space he can do some pretty impressive stuff.  We need to be leveraging him more and reducing the reps we're giving to Ivory.  I think it prevents him from getting into any sort of rhythm when they are splitting carries almost evenly.  This guy was drafted for a reason.  Feed him the ball.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I'm a TN fan and I love LF. But he needs to be used a lot differently than Henry. Henry is really a beast and a lot better than most think but LF can be elite in the pass game but not with your OL or QB. If you do to LF what LSU did he'll be hurt all the time. Henry thrives off that kind of living because he is 257 pounds of man. He gets better the more he gets.

LSU staff almost killed Fournette. He was all we had on offense. If he ever gets a QB to play with he'll be Marshall Faulk with more power and speed. The OL does not need to be elite but you have to have a controlling force at the pivot with Fournette. I guy like Rodney Hudson or Dermonti Dawson.
You know you're dealing with a belief system when you get an emotional response.
