Bortles and Lee have no chemistry
|
Bortles seems to always throw the ball behind Lee. Lee is much straight line speed faster than Arob. But as a former QB I can tell you, some WR run full speed every route and some run 85%.
Tell ones that run 85% are easier to throw to bc they give you room to "miss windows " (tough to explain) The ones that run full speed on every route are tough the get chemistry with. Lee seems like a WR that is a full speed guy. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Lee needs it thrown in front of him. Although that's a good thing at time, it can come unstuck a lot more than it works.. in my opinion.
![]() 80% of what I talk about is nonesense.. the other 25% is made up statistics...
They didn't have chemistry last year or the year before that. Blake just isn't accurate.
Bortles sucks. Period.
Caldwell set this franchise back years when he drafted that drunk. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
You do realize that the only chemistry going on with this team is what they are smoking before running out of the tunnel at the start of the game. right? Right? RIGHT???
Bortles isn't a tight window thrower and Lee isn't a catch radius specialist. It's oil and water.
I agree. He doesn't have the nimble body control as Arob. Maybe Lee is a 1 or 2 trick pony.
Yes I know Bortles is trash, just trying a different angle at what I saw today. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Receivers get separation and Bortles throws it so the DBs close in on them every time. Bortles is just not good.
At this point Bortles is the reason why this team won't make the playoffs. It's almost like he is doing it on purpose.

In perspective right now, last week was a fluke, not this week. I hope the Jags prove me wrong!
Yeah I don't think it's a chemistry issue. I think it's an accuracy issue.

The thing is, middle of the road QB play could be enough to get this team in the playoffs. The more frustrating part is Bortles isn't even throwing those horrible, straight to defender INTs. They're all freaking tipped passes
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
Does he have chemistry with anyone other than the bartender? When we need him to do anything that requires contributing he is unable. He isn't an NFL QB and we don't have one on the team. It would be an aberration him to prove that he belongs.

It seems that Blake has chemistry only with receivers who can routinely win a 50/50 ball, because he won't put the ball where it needs to be. If Lee were to run more 2 yard routes, Blake could get him the ball, because that's about as far as Blake can go in his progressions
Sometimes it seems like every other Lee incompletion is a tipped interception.
