If we dont upgrade at qb, we aint got a chance vs competent teams

Cutler wasn't going to come here. Miami was a playoff team last season and the main reason he left the broadcast booth was due to his close ties to Adam Gase.
Why not?  This team is an AVERAGE QB away from winning this division.

kap got beat out by gabbert in a legitimate cb competition the reason he is not on a team is he cant even be a backup

AJ Macarron is an option as well. This team is afraid to make a bold move. They rather just suck.

The guy who couldn't beat out Andy Dalton?

There are no QBs out there who are worth a "bold move." There weren't any even at the beginning of the offseason. I thought Hoyer and Fitzpatrick were the best two, but neither is any better than Bortles.

Heck, the Bears thought Mike Glennon was far better than the next best option. Mike Glennon!

If the Bengals were really 'done' with Dalton, I would absolutely want him. I also think that if Tony Romo could be talked out the both we would be a playoff team as long as he stayed upright. I don't see any other immediate options that are worth making. Garappalo is the classic small sample, way overpay for NE backup guy.

Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster

Kerry Collins can be lured out of retirement for a mil and some fishing lures. Just say the word, I can broker this deal.

Unfortunately, some people were.. even though we won..

Unless ya can convince Romo to come here and leave broadcasting. Not a real option out there at QB. Khan the owner said no to Kaep.

So get over it Colin will never be a Jag.

Khan said he'd be willing to sign him if recommended by the football minds, Coughlin said no.

Just look at the Packers tonight. They are playing like crap and Rodgers can't overcome that. They're getting blown out. Maybe they should move on from him huh?

Correct. But Tom is Executive of Football Operations. And what he says goes. So nope won't come here. Why? Because he is worse then Tebow.

I don't wanna hear, ohhh who can they bring in.......there are options out there that are better than Blake.

So why is this organization set on our QB situation?

(09-17-2017, 09:08 PM)BklynJag Wrote: Vikings lose there QB last season, what do they do, make a huge trade for another one. This team needs to make a bold move.

and then have jack [BLEEP] for picks next year...We need OL really bad and if we trade away pics for a one year stop gap we can't get quality OL...I know Kaep wouldn't cost any picks, but, Coughlin already said they did their study of Kaep and they are not interested...

IDK why it's so hard to understand why Kaep is unemployed...Not one of 32 teams are interested in him, not even as a back up and yet fans still call for him...They did the same thing with Tebow who is a baseball player now because 32 teams didn't think he was good enough to be a NFL QB even though fans still call for him...
