Oley is a great QB Coach. That's his calling. Making him an OC was a mistake because he's clueless when it comes to running the football, but Oley is a passing game mastermind who knows how to work with QBs.

Then why did he tell Bortles not to go to California to work on his mechanics with Tom House?

I am just glad my Purdue Boilermakers did not hire him as head coach. They were considering it and I was a sad man.

Oley wanted Blake to keep his timing down with the WRs and thought they could do better for him themselves. But it's Blake, and he's not exactly the best example. Look at Oley's entire track record with QBs.

Fun Fact: Tom House caught the baseball hit by Henry Aaron into the Fulton County Stadium bullpen to break Babe Ruth's career home run record.

A superior accomplishment as compared to his effect on Bortles' ability to consistently throw a football effectively.

No it isn't, there's dozens of threads on this board where we called him that. A Real Jaguars Fan would know that.

That's his nickname, but I think it should be spelled Olly or Oly.

You may as well be saying ¡Olé!

The only reason anyone calls me JDub is they want to disrespect me. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Olson got Carr to his peak, then he got Bortles to his peak, now he's doing the same with Goff.
