Yeah I know. I’m just not sure why you listed those guys out as if they’re affecting the already calculated figure any further. And also Bortles is down for $19m per your link.
All possible cuts and savings for 2018:
Lewis - $3.75 million Jackson - $9.5 million Bortles - $18 million Ivory - $4 million Parnell - $5 million Hurns - $7 million Unless I'm missing someone (which is possible), I didn't see anyone else that we would have any real financial gain by cutting. The problem is that if we cut Bortles, Parnell, or Hurns, then we don't have anyone serviceable behind them. Ivory is all but gone IMO. If we cut Ivory and Hurns, we can sign Robinson for a $10 million-ish 1-year prove it deal. What I foresee happening is that they sign Bortles to a 3-year $30 million-ish deal which would eliminate a lot of extra cash on his current $18 million number, release Ivory / Hurns, and sign Robinson to a prove-it deal. This would give us a couple years to develop another QB and figure out if we need to sign Robinson to a bigger contract. We show less advertisements to registered users. No need for the 'something like that' estimations. It’s okay you guys got taken. Y’all traded an all pro tackle for a 6th rounder. Y’all are paying his ten million in guaranteed money this year and 14 million in guaranteed money next year against your cap. We pay 2 million this year and 10 next year with no guaranteed money after 2018 lol. It’s okay you don’t have to justify to us. We are on pace to break the sack record with out him. We don’t need him to be a weapon. If he is just a starter that is a win. After this move we have 30 million in roll over cap not space not including the cap increasing. We legit may have 40 million before any cuts being made. You may just be in denial and that’s okay. I can agree with you that you guys would rather get something for nothing but y’all are still footing the bill. Why not just keep him or get more? Why did y’all change the defense after paying him? Sounds more like poor management and coaching on the bills.

When I 1st glanced at my BR update, Buf, Jags trade- my brain immediately went to Anquan Bolden. Glad its Darius. My baby mama threw a styrofoam football for him to sign at training camp and bopped him in head with it. Fun fact.

We can pretty much keep the team as is, but filling any of our needs or trying to fix QB will take some work. Nothing says fixing the position like handing the reigns of a super bowl aspiring team to a rookie QB. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

We can cut guys like Poz, Ivory, Marcedes, and maybe even Parnell and save ~$20 mil then we have to figure out what to do with Arob, Lee, and Colvin. They will obviously take much more than that to keep so we're definitely going to lose some of them if not all 3. And then we have to figure out what to do at QB, TE, WR, SLB, and at least one starting caliber OG/RT...it's going to take some creativity like I said.[BLEEP] and Lewis you can't cut because their not under contract next year http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/jacksonville-...ewis-4160/ I think Lewis is here 2018.

Why are some posters indicating the the Bills actually got a fifth round pick?
To all of the people that think we're cutting Bortles after this year, you're going to be disappointed. We're not spending money to load the roster with talent to turn the reigns over to a rookie. I think we'll sign Blake to a 2 year deal at years end at around $12 Million per year, and maybe draft a QB in the mid rounds. If you ever listen to DOUG talk about Blake, you can easily tell that he likes what Blake's doing, and believes he can be the guy. Barring a complete collapse this year, he'll be the starter next year.
