Sucks for him, but I was getting worried about our 2nd matchup this year. This should take care of that.

Garafolo just confirmed it is indeed a torn ACL.

Was excited to see him against the Jags the second time around. I can't stand the tinhorns, but i like Watson as a player. Sucks that this happened to him, especially since he was having a historic start to his career.

@MikeGarafolo
Texans QB DeShaun Watson has a confirmed torn ACL, source says. So the team's fears that @RapSheet reported are confirmed.

He's looking at a year recovery AND he isn't a prototypical pocket passer. I wonder how it will affect his game when he returns? It's too bad for him. At least you know he will get top shelf medical care and rehab.

If one is assuming, it would be more logical to assume Mariota will NOT finish the season on the active roster.

No it's not.

We can still lose to the Titans. That is not an excuse, but it can't be ruled out.

This is his 2nd torn ACL. He tore it at Clemson as well. Not sure if it was same one or not.

Does Blake count as an excuse, if needed?

As long as the Tacks have a chance, the media has no reason to guarantee we will win the AFCS. One thing we can be sure of is the Tinhorns will be out of it.

Well this is good for the Jaguars, bad for my fantasy team, but good the Jags.

You can’t be sure of that.

There is no excuse for any player being bad enough to lose games. They all know what their job is.

Makes trading Duane Brown a bit more risky of a move now.

ACL recovery is a lot more streamlined now, it's still early enough that he should be good to go to start next season, albeit probably slightly limited. If it's the same one he tore in college you have to wonder how it will effect him moving forward.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

Doesn’t mean they do their job well enough.

Same here. I can't stand the texans as an organization, but I was looking forward to seeing our defense against him later on in the season.

Also, Jags get two more ten sack games this season?

Because Deshaun Watson tore his ACL in November, regardless of which knee he injured, he will be a strong candidate for the PUP list next season. Nobody can predict how long his recovery will last because every player is different.
