Truth be told, your condescension would be easier to endure if you were right about things more often. But alas, just like here, you're not. Let me explain. Well, no, I'm not. Exist in your make-believe world however you like, but I can assure it's not because of your disability. I'm stopping with that because I'll not be part of turning this thread into All About Jdub.

I was kinda worried about our second matchup. The remaining schedule doesn’t offer many great QBs. But, if the Jags keep winning they’ll end up getting their chance hopefully in the playoffs to show what they can do against a great QB. Hopefully it’ll be Brady ![]()
So am I alone in thinking we've already seen the best that Watson had to offer?
His problem has always been he lacked accuracy and much like Bortles in 2015 he's made his name his year on thrown balls deep for his guys to out fight defenses for or used his legs for big gains or to throw the defense off. If he comes back next year and they try to use this year's game plan I expect it will be a little less successful and he'll end up injured again. From here on out he'll probably have to do it from the pocket, and start looking more like 2016 and onwards Bortles, which is why the Jaguars passed on him in the first place. He will have Hopkins and Fuller back next year. They will probably upgrade the Oline through the draft (no 1st rounder) and FA. I think their defense is going to get worse which means you're going to see Watson throw more. No idea what's gonna happen really.

I was telling my buddy out all Watson had is the deep comeback to Hopkins, the deep jump ball or run out the pocket. That’s about it. Not to take away him what he has done tho, I do want to give him credit for keeping the Texans in a lot of games they would have lost. But I just don’t think he was gonna be the long term answer for them once teams get some tape on him and really create a game plan to stop him. That was really a swing for the fence move and hopefully he saves O’Brien’s job.
Did anybody besides the media who are desperate for the next great QB really think DW could maintain this level of play? Did we not learn anything from the likes of Kaep and RG3?
