Since when has Yeldon or Ivory been 2nd in the NFL in avg yards rushing per game?

When has Yeldon or Ivory had 7 TDs through 11 games?

Since when has Yeldon or Ivory busted long td runs?

All they do is fumble to ball and make a play here and there, you guys always overreact after bad games, same thing after the Chargers game, then he came back with 111 yards rushing, he's a rookie RB in the NFL he's gonna have ups and downs, he still has the Jaguars record for avg yards per game by a rookie RB. Fournette is still 7th in the NFL in rushing yards after a bad game, shows how good he is.

I dont know how that someone could blame a player that has carriered this team offensivly all season long. A player that is responsible for 80% of offense production. Thats beyond insane.

Where was Ivory btw? Was he inactive?

Ivory had one carry for -2 yards and a fumble. The fumble was recovered by Arizona and resulted in a FG. We lost by 3.

So clearly the loss was all Fournette's fault.

We were also having our first good drive of the game when he fumbled, it could have lead to a TD or FG for us

Outside of those two long runs this year, Fournette has been a sub 4 ypc running back. He isn't a guy who's strengths translate as well in the NFL (power and speed). Couple that with the injury history with the ankles, it was a risky pick. I compare him to Eddie George with more speed, a solid work horse back but not consistently explosive. He was over drafted in 2017 wouldn't have been in 1997, the league is just better suited for guys like Kamara/Elliot/Bell with wiggle. The expectations were just way too high for him, not his fault, so trying to lay this game on him is ridiculous. He is what he is, a guy that goes for 4-4.5 ypc on 30 carries in a good game but it's hard to expect him to turn nothing into some thing on a consistent basis, or rips long runs outside of when he catches a safety out of position.

I’m sorry but Blake has been the most consistent offensive player. Fournette shows up when the game is already won or someone else is pulling all the weight. Most of Fournette a yards have been empty stats.
Go Jags!

The whole game is different without 1 or 2 drops by WRs, or if the early turnovers had stood up to replay challenge. It's just a combination of things that didn't go the Jags' way and they still almost won. No reason to panic, but I wish the OL would get healthy.

This needs to happen and needs to happen fast. Maybe not against Indy but in 2 weeks we play Seattle. Going to need a healthy OLine for that one.

With Bortles and Fournette entering the twilight of their careers, I can only assume the jags will start looking toward the future.

I'm just assuming they are in their twilight years based on receding hair lines ... those dudes gotta be old, right?

You do know this is 4net's rookie season, right? He's 22 years old.

He was on the sideline for most of the 4th quarter. I don't believe that is his fault.

Look some of you are incredulous at the thought that someone would question Fournette. But I stand by it. He was drafted to help Bortles and this offense. Where was he yesterday? What did he contribute? Bortles picked up his slack. If he would've man'd up and ran hard like an old AP did, Jags win. If he's injured he needs to stay on the sideline. They already proved they can win with out him. I have no doubt the running game would've been better if he was just out for the game.

Where was Fournette yesterday? Mostly facing 8-9 man fronts like he has most of the season because our QB strikes absolutely no fear into ANY defense he faces. The Chargers were literally playing zero coverage most of the game stacking the box and daring Bortles to beat them. Luckily for him our defense bailed him out twice or we’d be sitting at 6-5. Maybe if we had a QB who can consistently make the most basic of plays our running game could get on track. Just a thought.

Bortles might not instill any fear, but running on first down, running on second down and forcing him to try and make a play on 3rd and 7 sure doesn't help anybody on this Offense.

And on the flip side of that, we don't have a single receiving threat who strikes any fear in the opposing teams either. Allen Robinson was that guy, yet we haven't had him since about 3 plays into the first game. This passing Offense went out the window with his injury.

This team desperately needs a receiving TE who could be an actual threat, game to game. Not just once, or twice during the entire season.

The team runs a lot on early downs because Bortles has proven time and again that he can’t be trusted throwing on early downs or has the mental capacity to audible into a winning play presnap. And please spare me the whole injured Robinson excuse. WR’s get hurt all of the time and yet somehow good QB’s are still able to up the play of those around them. Bortles has never done that nor will he ever.

Show me some QBs that have lost their far and away best WR and favorite target, who haven't struggled after losing them.

Brady, Newton, Wilson, Brees, and the list goes on... a good QB makes his WRs better even mediocre once.

2015 Aaron Rodgers loses Jordy Nelson for the season. Finished the season with 3800+ yards and 31 TD’s. Brady lost Edlman this season and Gronk in seasons past. Didn’t slow him down a bit. Matt Stafford lost Megatron. Still a good QB that I would take over Bortles. Even Eli Manning losing OBJ is still putting up better numbers on a bad Giants team. Quick, name me one WR who plays for the Eagles without Google. Yet Carson Wentz is somehow leading the Eagles to the best record in the NFL. And wasn’t Bortles drafted 3rd overall? He’s in his 4th season and still can’t make a back shoulder throw on a consistent basis. HE’S A BUST!

You just listed arguably the greatest QB of all time, one of the best QBs to ever play the game and another HoF QB.... Of course those guys can up the level of other players, problem is they're very few and far between.

Stafford is a good QB and he still has some good WRs on that team.. Tate and Jones are better than the guys we currently have (not counting Robinson).

Alshon Jeffery, Nelson Agolor(spelling, I'd have to look it up for the correct spelling) and TE Ertz... Ertz is good, Jeffery is a really good WR and Agolor is starting to come on now in his 3rd season.
