I hope this isn't true

According to Curtis Dvorak (AKA the original Jaxon DeVille) said Bills fans bought 7000 tickets at the 200% markup price.

Doesn't surprise me one bit. Bills fans are loyal if not crazy lol
It's ok, we'll have the other 60k fans on our side.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
Hopefully the bills fans can witness in person the losing tradition this franchise is known for in the playoffs.

It is true. Considering the limited visiting team ticket allotment, if you want to go you have to pay. The general admission tickets “standing room only” are going for $300+ right now. They were $52 at the time they went on sale originally.

I haven't seen huge blocks of resale seats available in the usual visiting team sections of 128 thru 133 and those seats were all originally sold before the Bills were announced as the opponent, so I'm guessing most of those Bills fans will be sitting up in the 400s with others scattered around the stadium but this is all anecdotal so I could be way off.
Once the Bills became the opponent I saw ticks go from 120ish to 300 on stubhub.
I sold 2 of my 4 $68 tickets for $350 each. I hope it's not a bills fan next to me on Sunday.

Our 63,000 plus sound system will out do their 6,000
yea I believe it too. Stubhub prices are insane now. The section I bought $100 ticket in is now going for $550. Have to think it is Bills fans driving up that price. I'm betting there will be a fair number of them. Hopefully the the Jags dont give them a chance to make much noise.

If those tickets weren't sold to brokers in the first place you'd have more Jaguar fans in those seats.
With that said, I'm guessing those fans paid much more than 200% mark up.
It makes sense being it's practically a bowl game for them. They get to come down to Florida in January for a football game.

That said, I commend your move. It's about time us season ticket holders can actually cash in for being loyal to the team throughout the very lean years !!! Also, it's great for the Jacksonville economy to have the Bills fans come down, book hotels, and eat in our resturaunts.

Damn, I know it's been 17 years, but slow down in these conditions. If these folks are going to make it, they'll need new rides.

I expected 7k based on the numbers iof tickets on stubhub etc. I know a long time Bills fan and when I mentioned that the Jags tickets had been marked up to like 200+ for the nosebleeds, he thought that was reasonable.
They have been getting gouged up there for awhile. Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster The Home Hypnotist! Media on the Brain Link! Quote:Peyton must store oxygen in that forehead of his. No way I'd still be alive after all that choking. |
