Personally, I respect the loyal Bills fans who follow their team through thick and thin and are willing to pay $400 for a $100 ticket than Johnny Bandwagon Jag fan who relinquished their season tickets during the tough times and are now expecting us loyal fans to sell extra tix to them at cost. Bandwagon fans are so ignorant about our commitment to pay for 2 lousy preseason games plus enduring another potentially bad year. I'll be using 2 of my tix but I'd be kidding myself if I were to tell you that I'd pass up $1,000 so 8 bandwagon Jag fans who failed to endure our pain are now getting an opportunity to experience our best days at face value. Reading comprehension and finances apparently are not your strength since you didn't grasp the key part about our residents non-loyalty to the Jags as well as profitability. I'll simplify it for you since you are in South Carolina *Bandwagon Jags fan who dissed the Jags during our lean years now offers $100 *Loyal Bills fan willing to travel to see their team offers $400 Sale goes to Bills fan. I have no sympathy for our unloyal bandwagon portion of our fanbase who now want a handout but were unwilling to gut it out with the rest of us. We show less advertisements to registered users. If you were a Gator fan, I would counter the South Carolina joke with something about jorts and/or a mullet. However your user name suggests you are a Miami fan which would explain why a solid home field advantage from a home crowd is not important to you. Anyway, we have all been waiting on this for way too long to be mad at one another. I will be cheering loudly in there with you on Sunday Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

It's hard looking at a few THOUSAND in profit and not capitalizing on it. Ain't no way I'd sell my tickets though. Not to a playoff game.
I'll make my money next year with the sweet schedule we're gonna have. ![]()

Ticketless Jags fan that wants to be at the game and decided to look for tickets this week has only himself to blame. He had a huge head start on being able to buy tickets from the team directly and then even at resale the prices didn’t get ridiculous until Monday. And there’s still plenty listed and prices are starting to drop. If Bills fan was willing to pay up to $300 for standing room only, you were never going to price him out. I'm in agreement as well. Just remember though, those ticket brokers that purchased blocks of season tickets for the past 7 years actually contributed to the core season ticket base that helps to keep this team in town (when our bandwagon fans didn't renew). Wow...was looking on Stub Hub at tickets for the Titans/Chiefs game. Lower level as low as $80. Upper deck as low as $40. Lots of tickets available too.
We learned in the Sunday School who made the sun shine through. I know who made the moonshine too, back where I come from.

Like you, I carried extra tickets I didn’t need during the lean years. I don’t any more, but there were many times where I couldn’t sell the extras which were in the 100s for anything but $20 or $30 to a scalper. Ended up giving most away to friends that were somewhat interested in the Jags in the hopes of turning them into regular tailgaters and season ticket owners themselves. That never worked. They just wanted more free tickets. Only winning creates excitement and fills the stadium, and here we are.

That’s insane considering the Chiefs are considered to have a very supportive and big fan base. You’d think those would be in high demand
Tickets in my section are going for north of $400. I have an extra ticket as my girlfriend can't go.
I've decided to sell the ticket at face value instead to one of the biggest Jags fans I know. ($95) There. That's my unselfish deed for 2018. Good to get that out of the way. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

The ticket sale at www.jaguars.com/playoffs includes any remaining unused inventory from parties such as the NFL, visiting team, player families and internal holds, as well as an additional 400 standing room only tickets.

Exactly -- I lost $633 on my preseason tix this year and you are correct, when fans get used to getting free tix or tix at a discount, they are unwilling to even pay regular price (let alone a slight markup) to attend a game. Jags fans got spoiled by the lack of demand on an abundant amount of supplies ..... UNTIL NOW, THAT IS !!!
It's two teams with LONG play off droughts. The bills were the longest in pro sports, and almost 20 years since jacksonville hosted a game, and ten since they were in one at all. Of course the fans are hungry for it.

I guess the core 57,000 season ticket holders are just moderate fans compared to this certain "one of the biggest fans" .... just being sarcastic. hopefully, at minimum, he's nice enough to treat you to a few beers and food during the game. But I guess folks with mouths to feed ahead of buying sporting event tickets can't be big fans in your book? Of course - common sense would tell you that him being "one of the biggest fans I know" that the "other" biggest fans I know already have their tickets.

Regardless, I figured folks in KC would be all over this game but maybe not?

I keep laughing at their message board. They are saying there is no way the stadium will be full on Sunday and that there are still TONS of tickets left to be sold. Clueless.
I get there are still lots of tickets on the aftermarket, but those prices will come down and get picked up by local fans, at least I'm hoping. Tickets go on sale at 3 pm today and I'm going to try and get as many as I can and sell them at face value locally just so Bills fans cant go. We show less advertisements to registered users. Ticketmaster was bogged down at 3 when the additional tickets were released today, but when I was able to get through and see some of the new inventory I noticed the team was getting in on the price appreciation action. These new seats aren't being sold at face value anymore.

Even after I tried to buy some, the site wouldn't let me.
LOL ... that's funny. In any event, the resale prices are coming down. I'd imagine by later Saturday night / Sunday early morning they'll be back to normal.
