Apparently a lot of Bills fans like pro wrestling and think that aspect of it is worthy of emulating.

Draw your own conclusions from there.

I just want their trashy selves out of town. Good luck finding a venue willing to host you no class clowns if you ever come back.

I read on Reddit that it started in 1976 when some fans threw another one onto a table in celebration and it broke.

Okay, pro wrestling…

As someone mentioned earlier, Wing-It was trashed, multiple fires were started outside the stadium, and a caller said they were walking through the parking lot and ripping the Jags flags off of cars. What a trash fan base.

As I was walking out of the stadium some clown was yelling about all of the white trash in Jacksonville.  You would appreciate it more if you had seen this drunken clown.  Another loser I saw was barfing in between an ice machine and the wall across from the level 400 concession stands.  The ones that were in my section were pretty harmless, but I saw several idiots on the concourses and ramps.

Add that to what these donkey butts did after the game, what a bunch of classless, arrogant [BLEEP].  I'm sure we'll hear that it wasn't the whole group...but what this subset did will certainly taint my view of any Bills' fan going forward.

If this is what makes 'a more passionate fanbase' or 'better fans'....I'll take Jaguars' fans, thank you very much.

I was barfing a lot yesterday too, but I have an excuse. Chemotherapy. Sick

Right here buddy. Good game. Like I said all week, it will be competitive and it was. Jaguars are not untouchable and they have a big challenge against the Steelers. 87 yards passing ain't going to cut it.

Okay, pro wrestling…

They can say it started in '76, but now they're doing it purely to be internet famous and there are certain sites that embrace their stupidity and act like it's actually cool.

Go home, Bills fans!
Your team let you down
You paid too much for tickets
Now you look like clowns

Go home, Bills fans!
Your team really sucks
You were full of trash talk
Now you can kiss our butts

Go home, Bills fans
You whine like little girls
Your team played so poorly,
They made you heave and hurl

Go home, Bills fans!
The playoffs were a bust
Now jumpstart your Camaro
That's covered in dirt and rust

Go home, Bills fans!
There's not much you can do
Just hang your head in shame
And eat our friggin poo!

Just getting back home to DC. Congrats on the victory. What a putrid game all the way around. Overall it was a great trip. I liked the stadium once you were in your seats, but it's weird that you can't easily get to either side of the upper deck. The stadium good deal of character. Cool seeing the pool decks. I've been to 14 different NFL stadiums, and I don't know why people would say it's not a good fan experience. For the most part, you know, other than that whole not winning thing, we had a good time. We hung out by the Bills bus afterwards and got to chat with a few players and the coach.

I saw a bit of a news on the the fire someone started in the lot. I see some of you are equating that kind of garbage to all Bills fans, but don't throw us all under the bus.I saw just as many dumb [BLEEP] Jags fans as I did Bills fans. There were some Jags fans behind me who were yelling classless things at and about Tyrod Taylor as he lay unconscious on the field. I was also physically threatened by some punk walking by me as I headed to my seats, but when I turned to face him and ask if he was talking to me, he half apologized and ran away. But I know that's not the majority of you guys either.

And can anyone explain the Duval thing? I asked multiple Jags fans, and was told Duval is the county, but nobody could explain it beyond that. Why do you chant the county name? Regardless, it's always fun seeing what traditions the hometown team has.

Congrats on the W. Good luck at Pitt. And please God, anyone but the Patriots!

The entire county of Duval is Jacksonville. There aren’t any other ‘Cities”. As stupid as it sounds, it does roll off the toungue easier than shouting JAAAAACKSSSSOOOONNVIIIIILLLLE

I believe the original thing started when a player (for the life of me I can't remember who) said, "Welcome to Duval, prepare to be hit."

In the broad sense, Duval is the county that completely encapsulates all of Jacksonville, but it is also a state of mind.

To me personally, #DTWD (Duval til we die) reperesents grit, toughness, rising up to face and overcome the circumstances. It is a rallying cry (hence why it is called out every 3rd down on defense).

I believe it originated with Marcus Stroud in the 2000s. It is very similar to how Miami is "The Three-Oh-Five", their area code.

Ahhh.  I thought it was a ‘rep where ya stay’ type of a thing.

That probably was when fans/players really started using it at the stadium.

However - there was a radio DJ that went by "Easy E" on 92.7 FM in Jax back in the day that used to say "Duuuuuuvvvvallll"  all the time.  Also "West-Saaaahhh-yyyyyyyd" was one of his on air hooks.

I think he deserves credit.

You all are wrong lol

The duval thing started as a college thing. Say you go to FAMU, well there are lot of people from Broward county, Pensacola, other cities in general. Yelling Duval was like a roll call. If you at the Moon (a club in Tallahassee) you scream duval to see how many Jacksonville people in there to let everyone else know how deep you are in the club lol

I would say maybe started in the 80’s honestly

It is precisely a “rep where you stay thing” it just sounds weird cause now people are saying duval while in duval county lol. It’s something you say when you are somewhere else, not in Jacksonville lol.

But it’s cool to see the culture change in Jacksonville. Very happy

Ah yes. Easy E and T-Roy on 92.7 the beat.

The good old days lol

^^^ this !!  And it actually sounds great on the drive home when listening to hip hop remixes as the DJ comes on a says Duuuuuuuuuuuuvvvvvvvvvaaaaaaaaallllllllllll  as one song is leading into another.

Our gansta hood of Ponte Vedra Beach is attempting emulate the chant but there's only so much one can do with St John's (county)
