The Jags should stay in Nickel and Dime as the Pats don't have a dominant running game. Lewis and whoever does a pretty good job, but they're not big, bruising backs. They're the little, scat, shifty, type. Thus the Jags don't need to run the 4-3 or 4-6 much if any.
They can go with Jalen on Gronk and Bouye on Cook. Or run single high safety with Gipson, while Telvin shades Gronk underneath with Church over the top, Jack is man up with whatever back is in. Jags on O should try pounding the ball. If NE is selling out to stop it, send the TE's over the middle and on out breaking routes. I would also use Blake on the Roll Out. If the Pats are determined or rather playing to stop the run and roll out, that leaves other areas of weakness which the Jag coaches need to take advantage of. Marrone is looking to be a very cerebral coach. The offensive game plan he had for the Steelers shows this. That playaction up the middle to Bohanan backs this up. Whoever is on Cook needs to maul him at the line! In the past, that's how you dealt with NE and their passing game. Coupled with hitting Brady in his mouth Brady and the Pats are so good because of their SYSTEM. Brady and Bill have a connection which has flourished over the years because they have a great connection. Brady is able to give Bill what he wants on the field. Again, they have a SYSTEM and to fight a system you have to disrupt it. There's a reason many WR's couldn't cut it on the Pats. Brady demands his WR's to be where they're supposed to be on time...so he can almost make the throws blind-folded. Brady is good...but any QB who put the work in would be able to duplicate what Brady done in this SYSTEM.
Points-allowed is important. We're also the 2nd best redzone offense, so if we're driving the field, the odds are that we're scoring. So, while you may dismiss the yards-allowed, if we get close enough to score then we probably will.

Kudos to any team that can own the Steelers, I love it. Sorry if some of us are excited for our team finally doing well. Sorry if that brings a certain bravado with it as well. Sorry...not sorry. Good comeback... completely avoiding everything said and ending with some nonsense like "welcome to the NFL" Been here... since before I had my own team the Jaguars. Been down since day one. I see you like big name offensive specialists and undervalue the trenches where football is really played. The Jags O line just shut out a league best Steeler D line in sacks, while paving the way to 45 points for their 'weak' O, in tough Heinz Field. The weak O, as a unit were 6th or so in points this year, scoring 30+ points routinely. For a team saturated with no-names you sure display depth in reasoning. And it's lovely how your D is not a 'weakness' relative to your amazing one-man O, while expecting opposing fans to highlight their perceived weaknesses. #CharminglyDenseWithoutRealizingIt Funny. Is that why we use Lacrosse players, and undrafted QBs, as receivers, and have the best Oline coach in the NFL? Once again, another fan trots out the tired strength of schedule argument, conveniently forgetting the winning teams that were kept out of the playoffs because of losses to us (Bolts, Ravens, Seahawks). It's awfully disingenuous to use that now considering the low likelihood you had us being anywhere near this point with this same schedule right before the season started. I know you are not the Steelers or the Bills, but that strength of schedule argument didn't help either of them against us. It won't help the Pats, either. It won't help an aging Solder block Ngakoue or Cameron Fleming block Calais Campbell. It won't help Hogan or Amendola beat the press of Ramsey or Bouye. It won't help soften the blow of any hits we put on Brady. It won't make Fournette any easier to tackle. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!

LOL this was this season. I couldn't even find the last time they soldout? Jaguars hit attendance low under Khan’s ownership Posted by Mike Florio on October 16, 2017, 11:22 AM EST Getty Images At 3-2 before Sunday, the Jaguars entered their second true home game of the season with a winning record and a signature victory over the Steelers. Jacksonville’s home team also was alone in first place in the AFC South. Given that the team has managed to sell plenty of tickets through plenty of struggles, they filled up EverBank Field for the game against the Rams, right? That didn’t happen. In fact, it was the lowest showing at home since Shad Khan purchased the team. According to Phillip Hellman of the Florida Times-Union, only 56,232 showed up for the 27-17 loss. The low turnout could be a product of disinterest, but the team is actually interesting this year — even though inconsistent. The win-one-lose-one formula suggested that a loss was looming in Week Six. Still, many expected the Jags to win the game, which would have moved them to 4-2 through six weeks of the season.
