No offensive linemen made it. Kind of surprising.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Urlacher doesn't deserve it.

That guy got trucked a lot.

People rag a ton on how flawed the MLB HOF voting system is, but this is worse. Max of 5 players is bad. It's hard to argue that any of the players that got in weren't deserving so I won't bang on that part, but the system needs revamped.

Bobby Beathard? I guess he earned it with his shrewd manipulation in the Ryan Leaf trade. He only gave up an additional first, a second, and two good players to move up one slot, just so he could draft the biggest bust in NFL history.

Not surprised. Played a non-glamour position for a small market team that came up short of a title. Throw in the fact that his career was a short one (although dominant) the odds will always be stacked against him. I’d love to see him in, but now I’m beginning to wonder if it’s ever going to happen.

Dawkins was a really good safety but Boselli should of gotten in over him

Urlacher is not a 1st ballot HOFer. Should be Bo over him.

There's basically a select panel of experts who do the voting.

Thanks. I was wondering if it was just some random people that went mostly by name recognition.

Perhaps Boselli-Jacoby-Hutchinson-Faneca are splitting the OL votes

Looks like longevity was a huge factor since Urlacher played in 182 games versus 91 for Bo

Jerry Kramer was an offensive lineman for the Packers.

Eight (8) were elected today.

Probably got in due to his tenure with the Fish and Skins.

They're a panel of almost entirely media and football writers are they not?

I don't know that I would call them all experts.  I can't understand how it's all decided by writers and media personnel.  Why not use a good number of hall of fame players or players/coaches in general?  Men that actually played with and against some of these players should be included.

Boselli not being in is a joke.

Brian Urlacher?!?

The common theme with those elected is the fact that they played 2x or more games than Bo (who played 91 games)

This makes me wonder if JJ Watt (who played in 3 less games than Bo) will ever be elected

It's good to see that Jerry Kramer finally got in. He should have been in long ago.
