While I didn't like the Smoot pick and still question it, it was obviously a BAP pick. The Jags had a clear need at guard, and that would have been the need pick had Caldwell picked for need. Caldwell also drafted the Biletnikoff award winning WR Dede Westbrook (also a BAP pick) in the next round, who might have put up as good a result as Kupp had he not missed more than half the season with an injury, and signed Keelan Cole as an undrafted free agent who put up numbers as good as Kupp in spite of the Jags run-first-and-don't-trust-Bortles offense. You're really stretching here. Some might say your rubber band broke a long while back. "Why should I give information to you when all you want to do is find something wrong with it?" A couple of years? Where's Tavon? You can wait around to determine Kupp is exceptionally talented and has a very high probability of sustained greatness in the NFL, but the league is woke. Imagine this...what if Bortles' last throw sailed into the competent hands of Cooper Kupp and not bounce off Caldwell's latest secret weapon, Westbrook? Sometimes a single botched draft pick is the difference between pretty good and greatness. Funny, Westbrook graded higher than Kupp, but was drafted a round later. Smoot who was drafted instead of Kupp was taken a round too soon. Did Caldwell know nobody wanted Westbrook and he would be able to draft him in the fourth so he took Smoot way early figuring he would not still be around for the Jaguars' fourth pick? Cooper Kupp NEVER occurred to Caldwell? Not likely. He rather didn't draft him because he knew he would by nature challenge the status quo. Better teams approach the draft not even knowing which players they will take. They trust their own work in free agency and their own field scouts have put together a great board and draft day is simply a matter of gazing up at the board and selecting the best available player. He also dropped the game winning TD in the Seattle game. I honestly feel like you haven't watched a single Jags game or an NFL game. We show less advertisements to registered users. Keelan Cole was not even drafted and put up comparable numbers to Kupp so I guess the Rams overdrafted him then. They should all be fired for drafting a guy they could have just gotten after the draft.... Westbrook had off the feild concerns... he was a consensus 2nd round pick at minimum. Lol and clearly you did not watch the AFCG lol. You can complain about a lot of stuff with this team but Caldwell’s draft strategy should not be one. He has an eye for talent. That cannot be disputed. Do Gms miss? Yes they all miss. The goal is to hit more than miss and that is exactly what he has done.
That Jungle Cat sure does like showing off that brain injury of his.

Take a look at Lindy's draft annual when you get the chance. They have rated teams drafting over the last five years. Only two (2) teams got grades equal to or greater than the B+ the Jaguars earned: Pittsburgh who got an A and Dallas who got a B+. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
It has been said but that also speaks to Arob with him rehabbing with the team but saying screw them and their offer lol. Get all your money but be aware. All money ain’t good money. The jags have been good to him. He is telling us what he thinks about this franchise and city.

I think I said go get your money lol. Just as an adult I realize all money ain’t good money. It’s all life changing money especially for a guy who only made 3.5 million over the last 4 years one of those years he didn’t even play. You get greedy and a team that isn’t invested in you cuts you and doesn’t care care about what happens to you. Khan has been taking care of his players. I hope his next owner is as good but i doubt it. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

OR, maybe he wants to get paid as much as possible AND go to a better situation for him. Why are players expected to be loyal to teams when teams will cut them or trade them without blinking an eye?
