Well I do think the secondary, basically rookies with hangovers, have done pretty well considering. 2 turnovers the first 2 drives, Meeks has looked ok and Phillys success passing has been over the middle. Just going to get tougher second half but they've held up better than I thought so far.

Vast majority of wentz' completions are hitting receivers guarded by LBs or safeties in zone coverage. A couple to TEs guarded by safeties or nickel in man.

People still think that the defense is not an issue....but how many guys are wide open ? How many times the QB is running for 10+ yards on 3rd down ?

Our Offense is bad (Oline is terrible), but defense is not as good as people think.

The Defense did their job. Cole coughing it up put the D back on the field a mere 3 plays later. They need the offense to just get a little more time of possesion so they dont get gassed. We're depleted by injury everywhere. We're a good team not a deep team and its showing. When one unit is consistently out on the field and backups are starting because of injury... help is not on the way there is no one left to rotate to. Run the Ball, Stop the Run, Don't turn it over, nail kicks. It's literally that easy; yet we somehow can't do it.

Cole has seemingly killed more drives this past month than I could possibly have imagined.

I'm willing to give all of his snaps to Chark at this point.

Heck, if we can get more consistency, I'd consider Greene too.

Speaking of the commentary crew, I have been absolutely annoyed by the constant harping on the Eagles' tackles being out, but absolutely ZERO mention of the Jaguars being down to our 3rd LT.

I had the same take. The man is 6/7 and 0 turnovers. Extended plays/drives with his legs, hit a couple nice throws and theyre talking like he's on his knees blowing the game. He's playing better than Wentz as of now and is somehow a lightningrod for criticism. The failure to mention Cole's fumble made me seriously question if that analyst was even watching the game.
