Granted this may not be the week for it, given Yeldon being beat up and LF still on the shelf, but after the bye week I really wish they would have some formations with multiple RB on the field, such as Yeldon and Hyde or Yeldon and Fournette. Maybe even using a few them with some pre-snap motion.

I think it may add at least some deception and help to alleviate the lack of any healthy TE's.

Tony Boselli believes that Hyde is the best running back on the roster...... including Fournette.

Yet to be seen, but if so, the running game could be a lot more imposing....assuming the o-line figured something out.

I didn't see much of a positive response about them either. Everyone is pretty much all about teal/white teal/black and black/black

Hyde gets 16 totes for about 68 yards and a TD 
Yeldon will get about 8 totes for 30 (and 5 catches for 45-a total of 75 scrimmage yards) no TD
Bortles carries 3 for 40

Which puts us over 100 yards as a team... but it won't be enough with a passing line of
16/30 195 1 TD 1 INT

That ain't me trying to knock Bortles or anything... it's just a 'more of the same' from the whole offense I feel.
Yeah, we'll look a bit better running... but not much... the OL is still the same OL. And the play caller is still the same ol play caller. So until we actually see something different, it'd be silly to expect something different one week removed.
I'm pessimistically hopeful lets say lol

4.5 ypc and 2nd lowest rush attempts looks like teams are abandoning the run even with success. The number 2 ranking is a little misleading, but no doubt they are controlling the opponents play calling by getting up on them and forcing teams to abandon the run

eagles secondary is pretty bad apparently so teams attack their.. too bad we dont have a QB to attack that, we will likely have to test that 2nd ranked defense and see how overated it is

Mercedes Lewis was a big part of that as well.  We are missing him big time.  Still dont see how we passed on Kittle as he was the best blocking TE in the draft and the guy went in the 5th round.

The offense took what they were giving them. Which was wide open receivers underneath against zone coverage. 

They probably should have run on a few of those short yardage conversion opportunities in the second half, IMO, but the o-line was not to be trusted in the run blocking game between the tackles today. 

The offense would have been fine even in the absence of the run today had they not had the drops and the turnover.
