I’m more for Haskins but hey... I’ll take anyone.

Kessler time next week.

I don't care if the Jags take "my guy" (Herbert). I just want them to take the right QB to lead this team into the future. If that is Haskins, Grier or Lock, it doesn't matter to me. I'm just tired of trying to find a good QB. Let's finally lock in on someone solid.

The tank is real now. We have a legitimate shot at a top QB in the draft. Take your chances there, not on a overpriced guy who’s on the downside of his career. Sign your career journeyman to be your bridge QB and hope for the best.

There are zero options. If we draft a QB next year the Jags are done as a franchise for another decade.

And what if we stick with Blake?

Then we are in the driver’s seat for Tua.

9-7. maybe 10-6 with a full roster.

I don't think anyone is advocating signing Flacco long term. It's just if he gets cut, he'd be a better one year, bridge QB for a rookie than Blake would.

I hope we do stick with him. For the sake of the future with Tua.

Flacco behind this oline wouldn't be a great watch.

You try and get a qb in the draft. All available options would be a minor upgrade at best.

The majority of teams in front of us in draft have a franchise QB or just drafted one. We should be in prime position to snag one.

And we have an extra pick to move up if need be to get our guy. Here’s hoping everyone who can declare does.

We will definitely have a top 10 pick. Several of the teams competing for number 1 overall already have a young QB. Trade what you need to, just secure the young player the scouts believe in and move forward.

I'm worried about Oakland and NYG though. I think Gruden takes his own guy and NY moves on from Eli. Could limit our options if they take QB but both of them are playing better now and the draft position could change.

Excuses for Bradley, Gene Smith, JDR, etc etc.  The usual company men.

You really don't think that Evans, VJax, DJax, OJ, Brate, and The Dougernaut far exceed anything BB5 has ever had to work with?

They do.

Bortles had two 1k receivers in 2015 plus Julius Thomas and still threw the most pick sixes in the league. He would do better sure, but he wouldn’t be an all pro. His problems go down to his his fundamentals, his mechanics and decision making. You can only dress it up so much, but I honestly don’t think Bortles can become an elite QB, heck even a consistently above average one ala Phillip Rivers. Is what it is. He’s not the answer. Time to move on
