10. We are getting the distinct, VERY strong impression that Arthur Jones is DONE as a member of the #Ravens

I've seen or heard his name mentioned by two different Jags staff members today somewhere in the various reports from Shadrick, DiRocco etc.

Just seems like one they have their eye on.

If Texans took QB today, bet it would be Bortles. But higher odds on going with sure things: Clowney or Robinson.

Being burned by Carr may be playing into this.  Remember how their last two #1 overall picks went (DE hit, QB miss.)

Hey if you could promise the Jags can get Winston in 2014 then by all means let's pass on QB this year...unfortunately I think we'll finish even better than this year and we'll be stuck in the same wait til next year mode again.

Agreed, if your QB is there this year, you take him. He could say the same thing about Winston with 20-25 other teams, however only one is actually going to get him.

They'd obviously have to take a QB at some point during the draft, but I think Clowney would be the only non first round QB selection the team could sell to fans.

I stumbled across this article the other day, and I can't believe that this particular molehill hasn't undergone reconstructive "Mountain" surgery. Excerpt follows:

<p style="margin-left:40px;">"Bob McNair’s affinity for the University of South Carolina has continued over the decades. The Houston Texans owner graduated from USC in 1958. He met his wife in Columbia. He stayed in contact with his alma mater, even traveling to Orlando, Fla., to attend South Carolina’s game against Wisconsin in the Capital One Bowl on New Year’s Day.
..

<p style="margin-left:40px;">

<p style="margin-left:40px;">...'He’s one of these players that’s really a once-in-every-10-years type of physical specimen that comes along. Mario Williams was that way. I think Clowney is actually a better athlete than Mario. So that tells you what kind of player he can be'
..."

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Maybe we do the Carolina method draft a qb that falls to the second aka clausan and them come

Back around next year and snag a newton/ Winston and no I'm not comparing the two just saying maybe what the jags could do

Clowney goes 1st (via Texans or trade) and Bridgewater goes 2, likely via trade.

Jax gets whats left.
