Serious question. Who is doing the QB evaluation here? There is a very high probability we choose the "wrong one".

You should have used alcohol as an excuse, the alternative explanations as to how you think Caldwell has picked good everywhere except QB and RB are even worse.

Okay, lemme lay out why I say that-

Lineman - Linder and Robinson are both good
WR- ARob, Westbrook, and Hurns, Lee to a lesser extend
RB- Yeldon is okay, Fournette is looking like a bust
CB- Ramsey, plus Colvin in the past
LB - Jack and Telvin are decent.
d-line - Ngakowae and Fowler were good. Smoot has looked better this year but he is still in the wait and see. Bryan, we will just have to see.
Safety - Harrison has actually looked awesome.

The positions I think he hasn't been good on:
QB - Bortles - backup level bust
RB - Yeldon - serviceable change of pace back, Fournette just isn't available and isn't good enough when he is.
TE- I can't think of anyone we drafted
FB - cause we drafted one at all.

He hasn't been bad. Several of the players in the top list have been pro-bowlers or are at least near that level. The problem is that he hasn't got the QB, and he also messed up on a 1st round RB (so far).

What do you guys think we'll do with OC. We're going for continuity, and I'm guessing that applies to gameplan and systems so how much control or room will they have?

I'm looking more at an inside hire or someone from TC's history.

I see the logic, there's going to be an incredible amount of pressure and expectation next season. The hope is they can get the players focused again.

Robinson is not as good as people make him out to be. Boselli has been highly critical of his work ethic and footwork. He is a concern.
2 of the WR's you named aren't on the roster anymore. If they were good, a good GM finds a way to keep them.  Westbrook is a #3 receiver in the NFL.
Colvin was slightly above average
Telvin has regressed significantly. I'll put this on the coaches and loss of Poz.
Harrison has potential.
Yeldon will be a huge star in another offense.

Not only that. If they keep Wash as the DC, that is almost as insane as keeping Marrone.

How in the world did Caldwell keep his job? This decision is almost as bad as when he extended Bradley's contract.

Bortles+Joeckel+Fowler+Fournette+Bryan= Caldwell keeping his job. Now we can get excited to see which quarterback Caldwell decides on. Rest assured it will be the wrong one.

It will be interesting to see who comes in for the OC position.

When you have 3 hits at the same time, you know your gonna lose some. Now whether he kept the wrong people is a different issue. I am just saying Caldwell does draft at least decently.

See alot of Kahn bashing but I read the statement to say the decision to keep or fire has been placed in Tom’s lap.

I guess I can live with it for another year, unless they say BB is going to be the starter too.

This is what happens when a soccer fan buys a football team. He has no clue what he's doing. I just may hibernate through the 2019 season. I have very little hope for the future, thanks to Khan. We'll probably draft a QB like Ryan Finley or Daniel Jones and sign a veteran like Tyrod Taylor and we'll be even worse off next season. I don't have the confidence that this coaching staff can develop a young QB.

I wouldn't call Westbrook or Hurns a "hit". Hurns vastly overachieved and is now playing like an un-drafted free agent in Dallas.

My problem is, you are giving the man who picked Blake Bortles with the #3 pick another shot at a QB. On top of that, we will likely need to give up additional draft picks to move up and get him now.
