A reporter asked Marrone about ASJ returning as well. I'm paraphrasing but it was largely the way Marrone said it that indicated something may be wrong - he basically said "I've got to work with the guys that are here in the building and ready to go." He seemed exasperated - but with the number of injuries - who wouldn't?Do you have a link to that? I would like to read some more on that. Not going to do that, but the O-zone bit is taken verbatim from yesterday's column. The social media stuff can be found at ASj's IG account, but he may have removed some of the weird stuff by now. I know I would if I were him. I'm just sharing what I know - believe me I'd prefer that he was healthy, motivated and ready to be part of the 2019 Jags offense. I'm just skeptical based on all of these clues.

Not sure the NFL allows offensive lineman to dive at the back of defenders knees the way the Broncos line used to. But that zone blocking scheme is deadly when done well. I'd be cool with this. Let's see. 4 Hall of Famers on that offense (Elway, Terrell Davis, S. Sharpe, Gary Zimmerman) + Rod Smith and Mark Scherleth. It would be pretty hard to screw up that offense
ASJ never excited me all that much. I'm crossing my fingers hoping the Jaguars manage to land Jared Cook in free agency.

I got myself excited for Monken, but I think this is the next best fallback.

Khan should just put an empty check in front of kubiak and tell him to write his number.

Tom Coughlin:
Now Gary, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to come in here and mold a new offense into something special. We've got our eye on some seriously lackluster prospects that you're really going to be not-so-excited about. Tony Khan standing behind Coughlin in the boardroom of the Kismet II:

And I think one of the big differences in teams is the front office or the coaching staffs and those things. There’s no cap there.” (01-14-2019, 01:57 PM)NYC4jags Wrote:(01-14-2019, 01:56 PM)Rico Wrote: Not that I have ever seen, unless I missed something trying to scour through the links that my Google search produced. ^^ One of the many that I read. ^^ |
