This Econo-Jaguars mentality is really old. It's got us nothing as long as it's been around. It serves no interest other than leading the league in cap space and six-consecutive non-winning seasons.


The unwillingness to pay veterans is a sure sign of a lack of football knowledge.


Babin is the heart and soul of our defense. If you're so blind that you can not see Babin's intangible value in return for his pay, you might suggest the Jaguars cut back on lawn-watering, solar panels, or something else to save a buck.


Please, for the team....for the city pride...stop cannibalizing every guy with a contract.

Final thought
The Jacksonville Jaguars haven't had much to cheer about over the last few years. I believe that's going to change in the very near future. It was a pleasure to watch Gus Bradley coach during the week of practice. His enthusiasm is contagious, and he never stopped teaching from the first whistle of practice to the final horn. They have the right coach in place. Now it's up to GM David Caldwell to solve the quarterback situation. I really believe this team is headed in the right direction.

I think you're too early to write off Fisch.  Babich has a history of mediocrity, but I think if he doesn't make strides this year, Gus isn't the type of guy to hang on to guys who don't get the job done (see, Mincey).

 

We were much too talentless to evaluate much of anything last year, coaching wise, but Fisch intrigued me with his creativity and Gus obviously did a pretty good job.

We could debate who has the absolute worst roster - but I don't think anyone in their right mind would try to argue that the Jags aren't in the bottom three.

I think our RB suffered from the ZBS a bit. I agree that MoJo of today ain't the MoJo of before; he's in decline...but I don't think he's totally done yet. I like Todman.
